Have you ever been banned?

If so, give the reason of why you were banned (preferably in a way that won't result in another ban for you) .


The only time I've been banned ocurred like 2 years ago, in the chatroom. One of the ops didn't agree with a certain slang I used for... female parts. :o

for pissing off one of the ops. i dont remember exactly who, or how, though.

Yes, from the forums, under a different name, for posting inane and useless threads.

It's entirely possible that I've also been banned from the chat at some point in the past, but I can't specifically remember it happening.
If you think the waiters are rude, you should see the manager.

Chat : 9 years ago after impersonating slug (pffft everyone in the channel were trading nicks at the time and being silly) and ended up with Brian pming me the password and whatnot to Saberworks. A couple other times for cursing.

Forums : Once for bad-mouthing homosexuality and once for accidentally posting a video with a donkey with its huge yecti-sized wang.

Yes, from both.

Aglar banned me from the forums years ago for posting warez-related materials, and Sine banned me from the chat for saying something inappropriate about Wolvie in my quit message... :o
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

From the chat.

Me and a friend both logged on from where we worked. Because we had the same IP address everybody thought I was playing about, next thing I know the connection is terminated and I'm banned.

I had to send an e-mail to the admins explaining the situation before I was un-banned, not sure but it might have been Brian that did the un-banning.

Never been banned, but I can remember the two times I've been kicked from the chat. The first was Flexor telling us that he was seriously ill, so I swore. The second was me and Flex pissing about, trading nicks for the day - except he was an op. Brad found out and booted the pair of us.

Didn't you request a ban to concentrate on studying and stuff?

Anyway, I was banned once for one day. I kept saying Ghost54321 spammed crap on the forums. Guess how Ghost54321 turned out...

I've been banned from the chat briefly for flooding. It wasn't intentional, I had just forgotten how much text was in the clipboard. Wolfy unbanned me a few minutes later.

I've only been banned once for something really minor (indirectly called everyone stupid if they furfilled a certain condition). Blujay sure was one strict admin back when he owned Massassi! Funny thing is that my computer went dead shortly after the ban and I wasn't unbanned until after my computer was fixed which was two months later.

I've been kicked a few times from the chat for being dirty. I remember one time when I use the nickname "dildo" and pretended to "ram my head" into the other chatters using /me emotes. That was pretty funny and was worth a kick :)

in the chat i've been banned for short periods for this and that... on chatcircuit i was k-lined (with admins like those... i think everyone has been at least once)

on the forums... once for a short time... can't remember why so well say "corrupt admin" (blujay back in his "omg you said something that might possibly offend someone... BAN" days)

In the forums I forget why. I think it was for a link I posted that had pr0n linked to it perhaps. Later on I became an Admin, so no bannings then!!!

I got banned a few times, through possibly from splash damage. The crossfire was thing during the political flame wars of '04. Never quite understood the reasons for them.

I've never been banned but I think I was kicked when me, Sarn, Cave_Demon, and some op I can't remeber got into a bar fight on the chat and the op decided enough was enough. Of course, he let me log back in and stay.
