I learned how to play Smells Like Team Spirit on guitar in about 15 minutes.

It's easy.

Thats why it's the first song alot of people learn. It's easily recognizable, but insanely easy to play. It's just a confidence booster.

I dunno about that drummer... even though he's a kid, that still wasn't good in any sense of the word. Of course he's the most talented of the bunch, but seriously...

Damn, that's a lot of people to embarrass yourself in front of.

I love the categories it was labeled with...

Lol the one kid sounds like hes playing on a 15 watt or something. And he also never switched from clean, because of the lack of a footswitch on his poop *** 15 watt. Oh and not to be sexist, but girls can't sing Nirvana, kthx.

ps. that chick might be hot if she didn't dress like a douchebag. poor girl :( .

Or maybe it was, because his douchebag teacher told him he was "good."

That's a huge reason that I said there is no excuse, and I was called an elitist. :v:
It took a while for you to find me; I was hiding in the lime tree.

Haha.

I don't know if this makes me an elitist prick or whatever, even though the vast majority of guitarists can learn the song in about 15 minutes and everyone is saying the same thing as me ( ), but that kid nailed that solo.

And when I say nailed, I mean it's like he crucified it. :P

Also, notice in the begining the girl is trying to throw her jacket away, and it gets caught on her arm?

the drummer and guitarist still have hope... with practice they can get better...

the girl... i don't think any amount of practice can make here even half-*** ok at getting remotely close to singing

Disregarding low wattage amps will get you nowhere in the professional music world. Especially recording. Say 100 watt tube amp to a recording engineer and some are likely to cry. 15w in a live situation without a PA is probably a little amateur though...

However, the song did make my face hurt.

But I'm sure Kurt Cobain is happy right now. Saying that someone ruined a Nirvana song because they weren;t a good musiciian is pretty dumb.

hell it would have been better if he cranked his little practice amp and played the clean parts with distortion since whatever buzzy farting muddy distortion his amp would most likely produce (assuming he's using the usual beginner amp that generally sounds like ***) might have masked some of his [fecal matter] playing

Yes, I insist. He's like 10 years old and a friggin prodigy. I don't drum, but that looks like talent to me. And that kid in the first video...? Naah.
