I recently started playing HL2 again for some reason. It is a lot more fun this time around.

Maybe you just need a more improved system, for to play games at a high level of pretty?

Or you could play MotS/JK. Those games never.... ever... ever... EVER get old.

1. The first and second games were much better.
2. EA can ruin anytihng they touch and I made a crappy rant thread as soon as I finsihed the SP.
3. You shouldn't be able to finish a timesplitters game on normal in 4 hours.
4. You're a ****ing moron.
nope.

He's right. They're both got reinstalled 3 months ago after I reformatted and I haven't touched them since then. And before that, last time I played was at least 6 months.

Sounds like you're just going through puberty still. It's a phase, it'll pass. Seriously, what do you consider "a long time"? A month? Two? I go months where I play minor amounts of WC3 and CS:S, and then just watch Naruto or 24 or Farscape or Firefly or something. It's not as big of a deal as you seem to be making it out to be.

When you do the same stuff all the time, it's bound to get boring.

I can lose interest in things for months, or even years. Then all of a sudden I'll pick it up again and enjoy it more than ever before. No worries. ;)

Damn! Minesweeper is hardcore! I can't believe Jack Thompson isn't onto Microsoft about this.

I dunno about that. Vista's Minesweeper has the option for replacing the mines with flowers...

You must be kidding. Please tell me you're kidding. I refuse to play a game where I have to weed out the bad flowers.

Why don't you just wait and see instead of jumping to conclusions about something that's happened over a month?

I've played that before, lotsa fun. What's even more fun is Mutilate the Lawn where you get to use a sizable John Deere tractor with a tow behind mower. But both games are kind of hard to play when it rains. The bad guys begin to absorb the mower and make it hard to beat.

Wait til you get on the freeway and cause trafic accidents by simply getting out of your car, waiting for other cars to stop/cash into yours, and then blowing up every car on site with any weapon you have.

I spent hours doing that :D

Know what's MORE fun? Mining the road with remote explosives, THEN causing a jam centered around them. If you do it right, the remotes go off in the center of the jam, and then it's a domino effect to either end. GLORIOUS EXPLOSIONS OF DEATH.

First off, I'd say going outside is the best option. Especially if there's a forest nearby.

But since you asked about games...

I seem to have taken a different meaning from what you said than the others did. I too feel less and less interested in games these days and find myself missing the halcyon days when there wasn't even a gaming industry. Back when games were not so much about flashy glitter and movie/tv tie-ins. That said, I'd personally reccomend some of my old favourites. (They may be hard to find, though.) "Full Throttle" is one of the best of the old-school adventure games of yore- I'd also reccomend "The Neverhood", which I have placed at the top of my "best games I've ever played" list. And since you seem to be a proponent of action and violence, "Crusader: No Remorse" and its sequel, "Crusader: No Regret" are good titles. And of course, be sure to give "Dark Forces" a run if you've not done so already. I wouldn't bother with MMORPGs, though. Those things are just cruel. You'd be much better off playing Dungeons and Dragons.
