The top two games on the list of games that will never come out are Duke Nukem Forever followed closely by Team Fortress 2.

Huh.

I was aware of DNF being that way, but not TF2. Interesting. Also, this slightly restores some of my faith in episodic gaming. I figured it was just an excuse to charge more money for less content, but this seems great.

Well, it's been in development for 7+ years, and for the past few years no one has ever expected it to come out.

If I hear that Dawn's coming out now, I'm gonna start running to the hills...

As for Team Fortress 2 -- I wonder how the more-cartoonish look will work. I'll have to see a video or something when I can. I may get back in my TF ways depending on how the engineer plays :D

Also, I'd really be happy if the "Portal" game revolves around Adrian Shepard, as one of the weapons he had was a teleport-creating BFG-type weapon. Really though, I just like how Opposing Force felt a lot. I'm not familiar with the comparison they made though, so it may be a lot more different. We'll see.

EDIT: OK, so I looked up some pictures from Prey of what I think are the portals they talk about. They're definately different, but I still don't think it'll exclude the possiblity of Shepard goodness <_<

Hmm, that's a really sound theory. The fact that Shephard is taken by the G-Man kinda helps support this too.

Unfortunately, it's a lot less likely to happen than it should be. Opposing Force was made by Gearbox, and I'm not sure what the legal stuff is behind that.

This is sweet, I didn't buy EP1, but I may when i get some more dough, and will most def. get EP2 now.

I'm certainly not looking forward to cartoonish graphics or whatever they described it as. I'm a big fan of games that feature semi-realistic looking people in a non-convincing environment. Even counter-strike's player models are pretty silly looking in game, if you think about it. Or it could come out really good, can't knock it til I play it.

I like the idea of Adrian Shepard being the Portal guy, but doing so would Possibly end the Opposing Force story and the potential for an actual Opposing Force expansion later on. So what I think will happen is that Shepard will not appear in Portal, nor will we ever see him again.

playing as the g-man would be so lame, though. all you could do is hit someone with your briefcase. there'd be no action whatsoever. just walk around, watch people, go into a portal and walk around some more. basically just a playable cutscene where you dont actuall do anything.

Think about it, it'd be awesome!!!
you could position yourself so that you're always in Gordons view, then as soon as he blinks you move behind him and watch as he runs in circles wondering where you went. You could even cause some global disasters too.
