It's strange how the average woman seems to only be attracted to a guy they have to "work for" to get. I don't know about the rest of you, but if some attractive girl wanted to be nice to me and please me in every way possible because it made HER happy, I'd be thinking "score!" Or, at the very least, I'd be thinking that enough to be turned on into taking an initial interest in them. Weirded out, yes, but happy that I got so lucky. If even the hottest of guys acted that way, it seems the average woman under 30 would be turned off.*
I've thought about trying to act differently to be less the "nice guy" but it's just not who I am, and it's not something I want to change, even if it means getting a woman's interest. If they're not interested in the kind of guy I really am, that's their loss. Meh. I'm not saying that there aren't things I could be doing to improve my chances either and still be me.
*When women get older, the trend seems to change to "Where's the guy that was too NICE to me?" Again, just a generalization.
