Yeah, I don't think their getting any younger looking personally.
And the new joker looks great.
That's Heath Ledger as the Joker. I thought that would be obvious in this thread.
Are you sure that's him? I swear I remember being in the IMDB forums for Batman Begins when it came out and someone posting that picture, saying it's what they thought the Joker should look like. When asked, he said it was some character from some other film. I don't remember if that was the exact picture he used, but it's extremely close (unless my memory just sucks and is filling in the blanks).

Where did you get the picture?

Vinny, I think what everyone is saying is...

-SAUCE? ZOMG!

They haven't started shooting the movie, so I don't see how that can be Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Christian Bale was the right age to be Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. Heath Ledger is 27 or so, which may be young, but the Joker makeup can more than make up for it if you think he should be older. Personally, given the younger Batman in the Begins series, younger villians is perfectly fine with me.
Pissed Off?

I'm told it's a picture from the 1928 movie "The Man Who Laughs" which inspired Bob Kane to make the Joker. The picture has circulated as Joker since before Batman Begins came out.

Yeah, now that I read it I remember, the guy in the thread also said it was from "The Man Who Laughs".

I just saw Batman Begins. I can't wait for "The Dark Knight", regardless of who plays Batman. (Yes, I know Heath Ledger is confirmed.)
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

I hope the same guy plays him.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Plays who, Batman? I'm pretty sure Christian Bale is doing the whole trilogy.

Interesting thing I read... Bob Kane originally based the Joker character on The Man Who Laughed, so maybe that is what Heath could look like.

If you look at pictures from Comic Con for the past 3 or so years you'll see that guy with a bunch of others, most notably a very good Catwoman and Harley.

A friend of mine went with them as Batgirl one year.
