Whats a good game?

Both of you, shove it. My internet's being a little ***** again and not letting me download large files. Quit complaining, atleast you have cable/DSL. I've got one step above Dial Up, and I get WORSE pings in games than I did with dial up.
I had a blog. It sucked.

I really don't give a **** about your problems.

Oh ****, I lost "the game."
Steal my dreams and sell them back to me.....

Uhg.

It was even more boring than diablo.
2006-08-07, 4:47 AM #45
At this point I'd really settle for anything that is coop...

We were playing Sacred earlier.

Which is fine, but I'd REALLY prefer an Arpg you can play with a joypad, instead of a clickfest.

X-Men Legends 2, PC, PS2, GC, Xbox, and PSP. You can't go wrong.

Can't you beat that in like 2 hours though?
2006-08-08, 5:43 AM #53
Champions of Norrath or Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2.

Uh...not that I know of. And even if you could, you can also beat Oblivion in a matter of hours. Could, being the operative word.

Hey, you know someone is working on an Oblivion MP mod right?

It doesn't do much other than let two people look at each other in game right now...

But god that game as multiplayer.. would be godly.

They call it "Everquest 2" and/or "World of Warcraft".

Neither of which are action rpgs. :P

Really though. I don't understand why an rpg has to be an MMO these days for it to have decent engaging multiplayer.

NWN's combat is BORING AS HELL.

Last I checked, combat was but one very minor aspect of RPGs. If you want combat, go the FPS, TPS, or platformer route.

Combat plays a minor roll in crappy RPGs.

Baldurs Gate 2 co-op is awesome fun.

The best RPGs in history have some of the lamest combat. FF6? The combat wasn't spectacular. Same with Chrono Trigger, Breath of Fire, Morrowind, etc. You're talking about action RPGs, which are much different :p

Secret Of Mana is like better than all of those. :P
2006-08-08, 9:18 AM #67
I know you said 2004-2005, but I can't help resisting to offer this. Sikendensetsu 3 (part of the secret of mana series) for snes. Its a japanese game, but the rom has an english patch. It has beautiful graphics (better than chronotrigger I think), can pick a party of 3 out of 6, and depending on how you pick it it drastically affects the story. Its an action rpg, with the melee attacks done in real time while the magic and summons are turn based. The game has a good story and is looong (it took a friend and I 40+ hours to beat it I believe). Its free now since its not in circulation anymore :), and depending on the emulator you can coop with upto 2 other players. The best emulator zsnes only lets you play with one other friend online. Btw, when you first load up the game in the emulator it'll look ugly, play around with the graphics settings and you can make it much more stunning.

Btw Jep, Halo pc doesn't have mp coop :(

Well, it doesn't quite fit your criteria, but Half-Life with Sven Co-op is always fun.

I think you can see where this is going. Well, I hope so at least, because even a retarded chimpanzee could.
