I was born in the USA...

I'm going to Denmark. For study abroad, that is.

As for leaving the U.S. for good, though, I can't see myself doing that. I've done enough travelling to know that people suck and are stupid everywhere. Likewise for governments, except in Somalia, which lacks one entirely.

I hate to break it to you, bud, but people are stupid everywhere. All you're going to find by leaving the U.S. is a brand new kind of dumb. Not to say you shouldn't leave, do whatever you want. It's a free country...just don't expect leaving it to bring you to a land of enlightenment.

I picked Canada...because that's where Martin Luther King JR. went.

You're not a traitor for wanting to go live in another country.

Maybe not a traitor, but what would this country become if every young generation thought that it couldn't make a difference simply because for the time being an old generation was in charge? Those educated from universities should be more than used to this. Almost all ideas they're taught are two generations old. And yet, change does happen. It's the impatient who lack the true vision of what must take place for change, they're not happy unless they can see what happens in their life time. How selfish.

The Human condition aside, I don't mind new breeds of stupid. It's just that anyplace I can find less stupidity is welcome. I think somewhere in Canada would be best. Keep in mind, I don't hate the US. I just hate where it's located. I want to be cold. I hate Forida, but I know anywhere else in the US wouldn't keep me happy for long. I want something different, when things finally get done staying the same.

Umm yeah ok, this really doesn't have a whole lot to do with wanting to live in another country.

You don't want to live in the US because it's not cold? Have you ever been to...anywhere in the north? If that's not cold enough for you, how about Alaska? I hear it's kinda cold up there.

The US is great as long as you can put up with the muckraker media, mass paranoia, and fear of your fellow man who might happen to be a ruthless murder gangsta who you will have a head on collision with and die unless you buy a hyundai because slowness saves lives.

Germany is going down the hill as well. Too many unthinking politicians that want to sell you everything in the name of security.
It's not Americans that are less welcome here, it's the Burgerboys. But I guess if you want to leave Burgerboylandia you definately don't qualify as a Burgerboy anymore.

IMHO Canada sounds nice.
Sorry for the lousy German

A new leader in China can do alot more damage to the people than a leader in US.

If you are pissed off at what is being done in America, China is not a better place to be. Especially in "human rights."
