Dreams that have been haunting me...

Superstition is bad luck BTW.

I never found it creepy because I AM INVINCIBLE and most of the time there is someone across the hall. It usually happens when I wake up and try to go back to sleep from people waking me up.

I had it twice, the first time i had no terror or anything, I just couldn't move and thought my cat was walking on the ebd next to me, but my door was closed and he couldn't have been there. When I could move again, I thought it was pretty cool. The second kind was the most terrifying experience I have ever had because it meshed smoothly with the most vividly horrific dream I have ever had. Even after I could move I was absolutely terrified. But when I woke up again in the morning, I was fine, and it was awesome. Sleep paralysis is SO COOL.

Has anyone ever had morning amnesia? Supposedly it's where you don't remember who you are, where you are or what you are doing for the first ten or fifteen minutes. Scott Adams, the writer of Dilbert, claimed in the commentary of one of his anthology books that he gets it every day. He said he was serious. I searched for "morning amnesia" a while ago and turned up nothing.

Morning amnesia? Hmmm, no I don't think I ever had that. But sometimes I have trouble recognizing my father and mother. Its like I see them and I have no idea who they are. But this is not after sleeping, it just happens randomnly this or that day.
Nothing to see here, move along.

SF_Gold, the history channel did a thing on Edgar Cayce this morning and it made me think of you. Maybe you're like this guy?

Im pretty sure I had sleep paralysis about a week ago.

My roommates were in the other room making some noise, which was half-waking me up frequently. One of those awakenings was different, I thought my roommate had said my name and was standing over me. I wasn't sure so I tried to say his name, but I couldn't. The covers were completely over me so I couldn't see much other then the outline of the window light through that, and it was blurry, however I could see and think. But I could not move at all when I tried. It was terrifying.

Luckily it only lasted a few seconds, and I could faintly here the others in the adjacent room so it wasn't completely scary.

Also, to Gold, prior to getting my license I had dreams of getting in car crashes, brakes failing, and getting arrested many many times. I doubt you have anything to worry about.

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.” Acts 2:17-18

Umm... are you an old man?

well just be more careful driving. I had a feeling once (back in the day) like in my gut to not drive. I was going up to my sisters house, but I remember literally thinking to myself "you shouldnt drive today" and I never get those kind of feelings and sure enough like 10 or 15 minutes into my drive I got into a car accident

So just like be careful and listen to your gut, and drive safe

I had a dream last night that somehow progressed from a house in the woods to a World War II scene (just soldiers hanging around) which also somehow involved a cheap horror movie villian who decapitated some *******. From there it went to the technological singularity and the ascension of the human race. Then I woke up.

last night involved my former manager at Domino's, driving a tiny car that was covered with cardboard and duct tape so you couldn't see out, and he was trying to run me over :psyduck:

I dreamed that the pool was closed because the chemicals were messed up and I was cleaning it. Then the ~50-60 year old Penny and her water aerobics students showed up and begged me to let them in the pool. So finally they got in anyway and Penny got fired and I suspected I was next. I think it was raining too. It was a really weird vivid dream. The pool was really dirty.
