I watched it, and was impressed, but if that's all there is to the game I will be disappointed. I don't think the makers of SS2 will disappoint though.

The game looks awesome. The idea of hunting little girls doesn't sit well with me though. The whole Big daddy, little sister thing is too cute. I have a thing against capping little girls unless of course their possessed by the devil, all linda blair head spinning style then I'm all for it.

That was the most hardcore and awesome trailer I've ever seen. Maybe even the best animated video I've ever seen. That was f***ing amazing. Too bad it's just a prerendered trailer.

The trailer didn't show off what's so special about this game. In was cool in any case.

If you didn't find something special about the 15 minutes of gameplay, then it probably means you're a boring, grey and unimaginative human being.

"Look a security camera! You can turn it off, shoot it, or sneak by it! That's three choices we give the player! Three! This is so new and innovative!"

"We don't have typical enemies in this game and no cookie cutter AI. Here's a genetically woman that can jump on ceilings and loops the same attack animation every time!"

"We're redefining the genre. Now we have to go find X item and get ambushed while doing so! This is so new!"

Plus they've basically turned an interesting idea like genetic engineering into your standard magic spells when they could have done something interesting.

These are your basic FPS elements. I see precisely no innovation here.

The game looks fine. I don't have a beef with the game. What I do have a beef with is trying to call this game innovative.

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed by what I saw; seems just like SS2 again. But that's not precisely a bad thing.

Oh yeah, tofu, I forgot that they always show everything about a game in the trailers and previews.

I can understand the last part of your post, but the rest sounds like your normal tripe. "Oh, it's new and innovative, so I'm going to be cool and edgy by acting like a moody little ***** who doesn't like it".

There'll always be people like you, though. Good thing they don't effect the market, or games like Deus Ex and Starcraft would've never made such acclaim as they have (rightfully) made.
