Who likes beer? I do.

I generally drink Sam Adams. Mmmmm.

What do you like?

At the moment, I detest it, but only because I had so much yesterday (big drinking day at my university). I would usually say Alexander Keith's and Sleeman Honey Brown, though.

I go for most of the regular lagers. I've got a couple of bottles of Carlsberg back in my room at Uni, but if I'm out it really depends on what's on and the price. A bottle of Corona with a slice of lime is good, but usually expensive compared to a regular pint.

I'm no special fan of beer. I can drink a bottle if offered, but I don't buy it myself. I prefer cider (or hard cider, I think your Americans call it).

I drink in moderation, so i limit myself to drinking one beer at a time.

I like Czechvar--one of the best tasting beers out there. This is the kind that you want to drink slowly because the taste is enjoyable.

I also like Franziskaner Hefe-Weis-- it's very clean and malty, the way a good hefeweizen should be.

Cold beer is sometimes good.

I'd still take Mozart chocolate liquor.

I used to not drink, but then some jerks got me hooked on it. Anyways I must admit that I rather enjoy Corona. Though I haven't tried all that many types of beer to make a fair comparison.

Try Carta Blanca or Noche Buena if you like Mexican beer.

Since they insist on packing corona in those clear bottles, it usually gets so skunky by the time I get it that I end up pouring it out.

Hertog Jan, Dommelsch or Botterik. Botterik is pretty exclusive though, only being served in 4 bars in a specific Dutch town.

I find that the majority of beers have a horrible taste so I don't usually got for it.

But Carlsberg export isn't too bad, and neither is Schmucker.

Yes, that's a brand name. :P
nope.

Any of your typical popular imported beers are good enough for me. Corona, Heinekein, Guinness, Killians, etc. I like other various small, imported labels, but I can't pronounce the name so I just buy it by what the label looks like. :v:

There are also plenty of non-imported beers from smaller brewerys that are really good. I like Yuengling a lot, mostly because of the price.

I like Stella Artois a lot. It's a very hopsy and smooth beer, if a little bitter.

Leinenkugel's Berry / Honey Weis is really good too.

Beer is lame.

Hammering shots of jack is my weapon of choice.

I've only tried two kinds of beers. Corona and something else. They both tasted horrible.

I prefer rum. :)

Tasmanian beer is the best beer in the world. It's the one thing they can do correctly.

I enjoy beer a lot.

My favorite has to be Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat, though Boule's other offerings are tasty as well.

Other favorites include Fat Tire, Red Stripe, Newcastle, Guiness, and Michelob Honey Lager.

All I have right now is a case of Bud Light though, because I lack monies for anything better. :(

Heineken is only useful in emergency situations when there is no other liquid around. WHich is odd, since it's made in the same brewery as Amstel, but Amstel is quite nice.

try some of the great lakes brews. since you're a clevlander you should appreciate our home grown beers.

also, beer makes me ill, so i usually stick to liquor or malt beverages. sometimes a good cider.

Malt liquor is the worst thing I can put into my gut. I shudder at memories of Colt 45 nights.
2006-10-02, 10:52 AM #37
I don't like beer and I don't like liquor, but given the choice i'd choose the liquor.

Why?

Because if i'm drinking something I dislike it's because i'm trying to get drunk, in which case I may as well go with the liquor since it does the job faster and the foul taste is gone sooner.

I got smashed quickly off Stella Artois. It's near 6%, nay?

Although the fact that I had an empty stomach and only 120 might have something to do with it :v:
