Unibrue wins. Maudite and La Fin Du Monde. High in alcohol (fermented on-the-lees). Maudite has a richer, darker flavor. Both are rather estery.

i only drink them if i dont plan on getting totally wasted. like i said, i would drink beer if i COULD but 1.5 and i get violently ill. its just not worth the trouble.

frankly, i prefer tobe drinking one of three things: Tequila, Gin, or Scotch. not necessarily in that order.

I've never understood why men seem to have a problem with getting drunk on what is essentially a good tasting soda.

ive liked any beer ive tried*, but i prefer non-light beer.. too watery. i like the hearty malt flavor >=)

and im a deathly skinny ******* so consuming anything "diet" feels like im cheating myself out of some needed calories


* EDIT: correction, when i was 11 years old i took a big ol' swig of some beer my dad had in a plastic bottle in the fridge cause i thought it was apple juice. boy that was a surprise and i cant say it tasted good.

I agree with ya there. I used to drink Smirnoff Rasberry and stuff, and it is really like an alcoholic koolaid or what not. I do, however, mainly drink beer because I like the taste, and the getting drunk part is merely an effect.

well this thread made me decide to get some on my way out from work (i work at wal-mart) and the selection was just sad... mostly just nasty piss water beer

luckily (because i was too lazy to go elsewhere looking for beer) we had this...
