I know they are, I was just looking for opinions on them, which is why I said in the first place that they are far off from the regular MacBooks.

Im pretty sure the Core 2's wont be that much longer, I dont think its an issue.

On another note, do you think the 2 new ipods will be released before christmas??

Mac Expo thingy with Job's Keynote speech is Jan 9th. Might be then, might be before Xmas.

To be honest, most teenagers / geeks will be getting consoles at xmas for ridiculous amounts of cash - Apple are probably aiming for the January Sales people with the new toys.

No Apple are not that stupid. There is no more event now until Jan, they have one more thing to release before Christmas but nothing else

Haha. I'm about as anti-apple as Martyn is. I just hate fanboys in any way shape or form, especially ones whose posts sound like they get paid to make them. IE You.

I don't like Garage band much either. Try reason, its pretty good (for my experience level atleast :().
