My ghetto "I don't have a camera so I'm using my webcam built in with my laptop" solution isn't conveying how heavy it was snowing.

In my two years in Rochester so far, I can say that it doesn't stack up at all to the average Cleveland weather.

Of course nothing compares to Erie, PA, they just get continually ****ed every week of winter.

I think you guys are missing the point. I know it's not the heaviest snow. I know it's not even STICKING, but it's the FIRST snow. And there's still that childish part of me that gets completely giddy at the first snow.

We had snow this morning too..actually enough that it was still on my truck when I got to work after ~12mi driving. It's almost all gone now, though..
woot!

I hate snow.. I hate driving in it, scraping it off my windows.. Everytime there is a little bit of snow on the ground, like rain (but worse), people suddenly forget how to drive. Not to mention how dirty your car gets over a snowy winter. I'm always washing my car.

But all in all I guess it is pretty sometimes.. if I didnt have to go anywhere.

I like snow from a distance, I was always the kid who got completely covered and abused during snow ball fights.

I think it snowed for a week in London last winter but none of it laid and that was in february... it's just really cold here at the moment....

No snow yet :(
Just a ridiculous high pressure system clearing the skies and making it far too frikkin cold. It doubly sucks that I don't have any heating in my house.

Positives aspects of Snow:
– It's fun to play with

Negative aspects of Snow:
– It's cold
– The glare of snow is more painful looking into the sun
– It refreezes as ice and makes walking anywhere quite a task
– Generally screws up your ability to get from A to B

Positive aspects of Rain:
– It's sexy
– It makes an awesome sound, one of the best sounds in the world
– The fresh outdoors smell after rain is wonderful
– Walking home in the rain is one of the most relaxing things possible if you don't mind getting wet
– It's not anywhere near as cold as snow

Negative aspects of Rain:
– You may get wet when you don't want to
– Inconsiderate road users
