Jedi were partly inspired by Ninjas.

Han Solo doesn't seem to project the image of a pirate, so much as that of a cowboy. Specifically, a space cowboy.

Or perhaps a gangster of love.... hmm.

ninjas, FFXI prooves this as ninjas can dual wield and make shadows to avoid damage, but pirates (corsairs) can only roll dice to give certain enhancements, like that will be of much use. :D
