Don't wear it so tight. Let it slide around a bit. Get leather, and care for it properly with leather conditioners. Also wash you hands.

Sure, he creates a lot of pointless threads, but I don't mind reading them at all.
Do you remember when half the threads were all toilet paper related? about folding vs scrunching? who complained then about useless threads?
You could argue that basically every thread is useless, but it doesn't matter. I am here for the conversation, not for meaning. If TE makes a random thread and it turns into multiple pages of conversation, then great! If he makes a thread that just fails, the who cares?
I think you TE bashers should ease off on the bullying (yes bullying, that is what you're doing) and just relax.
Why treat TE like the new Gold? TE is just a random thread maker, is that really that bad?

Now, I'm not advocating treating anyone like crap, but we don't need people posting a thread for every random thought that enters their head either.

Which reminds me - I read this and thought of massassi!

Fears that a new super-strong toilet tissue might clog up Britain's sewage system have been averted thanks to the swift introduction of a "flushability" test for such products.

The crisis was sparked by Procter & Gamble of Newcastle upon Tyne, which in January launched a fortified brand of toilet tissue. Charmin contains special ingredients which give it "transient wet strength". This prevents "premature disintegration" of the tissue when it is exposed to small amounts of moisture during use.

Kimberly-Clark of Reigate, Surrey, which makes Britain's best-selling Andrex brand, cried foul. In a letter sent to Procter & Gamble and also to the industry's trade association, Kimberly-Clark said that the technology had been rejected by British manufacturers previously because of fears that stubborn tissue would clog filters at sewage works.

To rescue a touchy situation, the trade body, the Association of Makers of Soft Tissue Papers, drafted a voluntary testing protocol for new tissues, which can check that their "flushability" and "dispersability" stay within agreed limits. Procter & Gamble, meanwhile, has agreed to halve the transient wet strength of Charmin to match a sister product sold in the US.

According to one source in the industry, there is evidence that before Americans use toilet paper they usually "scrunch" it. Britons tend to fold their tissue, which makes it weaker when wet. This might explain, says the source, why Procter & Gamble opted to launch the extra-strong product for the UK.
