We were talking about the picture at hand. What the hell does the "possibility that it might change in the future" pertain to the discussion.

Here, some simple english with emphasis on certain words so you hard-headed simpletons understand. RIGHT NOW it is not right. THE PICTURE I AM SEEING THIS VERY MOMENT is too weathered down. THE CURRENT SCREENSHOT that was displayed is what I am talking about.

If we were discussing code or level design, it would be a valid point, but we're talking about pictures that they have publicly release to show off their mod. Who cares about a close up shot of something that you won't see much because it'll be exploding when you get close to it.

It looks kinda cool, the entire mod looks kinda cool, so honestly, who cares about the small corner of an explosive when you'll be holding more aweseom weapons and worring more about shooting the crap outta aliens and marines to care about a crappy paint job.

I wouldn't say the crossbow looks bad, but it doesn't really seem up to par with the other stuff they've got. And besides, it looks nothing like the HL1 one.

I think it all looks kick ***. I understand, and agree with people's thoughts on how the mines shouldn't be all scratched up, however I would rather have that than nothing at all. It gives you something more to look at. I just think it adds detail instead of it just being a bare corner. I really don't care though, I'll be really excited to play this if it's released.

Those shots look great. Game environments are too sterile in general, so anything that can be added to spice things up and add realism/texture is fine with me.

i didn't say they were. thats why i said it was the HL2 version. i was just commenting on how they didn't make a model better than the developers of half life.
