i'll probably be thought of as gay for this, but Moulin Rouge is the only movie to ever make me cry.

but it was a difficult time for me, and i didnt cry at the end. i cried in the middle, somewhere about where medly of love songs was done.

I'm pretty sure plenty of people mentioned "the scene," infact, I'm pretty sure it was the most common example provided by those who did not like the movie.

I don't think that's the scene he's referring to. I'm pretty sure there's 9 minutes of pure hilarity that I kept wanting to look away from, but two damnably funny items kept bouncing my attention back to the screen. LMAO

Dancer in the dark - freaking impressive and intense movie by Lars von Trier. With Björk as Selma.

I was taken totally by surprise by this one... I had no idea what I was going to be watching. I make a habit of not reading the synopsis before watching a movie, because I like to be surprised.
