Will you please join me in inebriated musings of how your team lost because they decided that the playoffs were not really that important. For every dropped pass that your top receiver(s) made, take a drink. For every failed opportunity from turnover, take a drink. For every missed FG, take a drink. For every botched play call, take a drink. For every time your team showed promise of a successful post season, up-end a bottle of scotch.

Thank you,
~Brandon

Everyone, please root for the Colts. I do not want to see the whole of the United States giving the Patriots proverbial oral pleasure yet again. They really do not need it.

Edit: Including New Orleans

I'm a Bears fan who is going to have to find a way to be satisfied with only 1 playoff win.

Unacceptable, you must list New York twice. Or New York (N) and New York (A), or just NYG and NYJ.

Otherwise you are a ridiculous man.

It wasn't a whoopin. It was the Bungles being the Bungles. They die in the 4th quarter every time, regardless of whether they're winning or losing. They had a billion chances to go the playoffs, they just did stupid mistakes every time, and blew it. Like the Bungles they are. Grr.

I sincerely hate the patriots with a flaming passion. My only consolation right now is vinatieri, and his potential to boot his old team to hell.

I was rooting for the eagles because of garcia, now i guess ill pull for the bears.

No way, Ric. No way. I hope the Saints'll beat the Bears, partly because I hate my stupid friends and their "BEARS BEARS BEARS PEYTON MANNING SUCKS LAWAWL" crap, and because the Bears suck. They had a waaaay easy season.

Pats could be Colts, but I hope not. I wanna see Colts and Saints, would be a good game. But no matter what, Bears are gonna get beat, be it in the division finals or the Superbowl.
I had a blog. It sucked.

There is only one thing standing between the Bears and the Super Bowl, and his name is Rex Grossman. It holds that he is going to start giving the ball away like turkey dinners at a homeless shelter on Thanksgiving in the NFC championship game or the Super Bowl if they get there.

Ermmm... the crappy defense is more in the way than Grossman is, despite what you hear on ESPN. Many say he gave the best performance of any QB in this round of the playoffs.

No I'm going to have to side with the Rex Grossman clause. That guy needs to be benched if the DA BEARS are going to have any hope in the SB. Even then, I think the Saints can pull it off in NFC champ game.

Predicting (hoping): Saints - Colts

He is either really good or really crappy. There is no middle ground with the man. There was a period of 5 or 6 games midseason where the the team with the most turnovers in that series of games had was 21. Second on the list was Rex Grossman with 18 all by himself. If he plays well next week, there's a pretty good chance that he blows it all to hell in the Super Bowl giving the ball away every other series, assuming, of course, that he doesn't do that next week.

Well you need to stick to your lightsaber/magic staff weilding because football isnt your thing apparently.

"Good Rex" is their only chance to win anything. Brian Griese cant put enough points on the board to overcome the weak defense.

This is what I said last week leading up to the Seahawk game, and it appears I was right. Griese loses that game for sure.

Hey, I'm not saying that Griese is any better, but Grossman is the Jekyll and Hyde of the NFL and he's due for an ugly performance.

I forgot that quarterback was the only position in football that mattered to the lesser football fans. Sorry to bother you.

Oh, there is more to the game for sure, but what good is an offense when the QB gives the ball away? I'm not saying it is going to happen, but it can, and if it doesn't the Bears are in trouble.

That was mostly in reply to JG saying Rex has to be benched.... BENCHED, after the game he just had. LOL.

Anyway, the point here is that Grossman could have a decent game, throw for 200 yards, get 21 or more points on the board, and the Bears could still lose the game because of the defense (and maybe in-part because of Devin Hester muffing punts).

Dont believe me? Look no further than last years playoffs when the Grossman offense put up 21 points. Most people who followed the team last year would've said "oh thats a guaranteed win with that defense!" but sadly no, the defense allowed 29 points.

Denver's not in the playoffs because they couldn't beat or even tie the 49ers despite getting the ball twice in overtime. And worse, one of our players is murdered at a New Year's party that same night. Pass the scotch. :(
