That is indeed awful. :(

Yeah, alright, you've earned your laugh. We sucked it up, and really we probably should have been knocked out of contention the week before against Cincinnati. We probably would have, if Houshmanzadeh hadn't tempted fate by giving the home crowd a Mile High Salute.

Ah, well. Next year is the year of non-rookie Jay Cutler, and you will all fear his mighty arm now that he has some idea of what he's throwing at.

P.S.: Screw the Patriots. I can't believe commentators are still lining up to pleasure Tom Brady for leading his team back to victory, after he and his three interceptions were the only reason New England was behind to begin with.

Yeah. It's not like the Chargers are arguable the best team in the NFL. They don't have the MVP or anything. It's not like Brady completed plays when they needed to be made.

Sure, the people that give him all of the credit are retarded. But so are you.

Jay's arm is sick. I watched many of his beautiful passes in person, and it was just nuts... I miss getting to watch him play every couple weeks though...

That hit doesn't look that hard, Looks like the guy got winded and nothing more. I've had more painful-looking collisions playing non-contact sports.

Basically the reason he only got winded is that he was wearing pads and didn't fall on anything that tends to break. He got hit square in the chest by something that weighs 200 pounds and moves very, very fast... that something being Sheldon Brown.

He was lucky not to break anything since he had no way of controlling his fall, but what i'm saying is that this kind of impact is in no way limited to American Football or even contact sports.

In baseball when a catcher gets laid out, but that doesn't happen all that often. Hockey has lots of big hits. Lacrosse also. But what other sports is that kind of hit perfectly legal?

Martyball!

Marty was out-coached badly. He has the best running back in the game, and he wasn't getting the ball in LT's nearly enough. And fact is, Brady got the job done when he needed to. Good teams find ways to win even if they are playing poorly.

Yes but he is hardly deserving of the attention that he's getting. For God's sakes he had a 57.6 passer rating! If he ripped apart the SD defense in the process, we'll talk about high praise.

It was all Martyball. I swear to fracking God I though San Diego saw the end of Martyball after the Ravens game. Proved me wrong.

I hate to say this as I'm an Indianapolis native, but the Colts'll choke, just like they do every year.

And yes, I hate them for more than just how they play. We pay out the wazoo for a brand new stadium (most expensive ever built) with our taxes. 95% of stadiums are mostly privately funded, but the Colts didn't shell even a dime, nor did anyone try to get a real sponsor.

If they win the super bowl... wait, if they even win the next game... I'll change my mind.

On average, Brady did more to hurt his team's chances of winning than he did to help them. Sure, he did barely enough at the end to keep them from losing, but he'd spent the previous three quarters trying to throw the game away, only to have it thrown right back at him by players like Eric Parker and Clinton Hart. There were few players on either team that deserved even a passing grade for the game (i.e. LaDanian Tomlinson, Troy Brown), and Brady wasn't one of them.

Brady's been getting lucky breaks his whole career, completing passes while he's sitting down, letting the ball squirt out of his hand while being sacked, to have it miraculously land in his RB's hands, and the RB takes off for a 15 yard gain. It's nothing new.

I don't want to refresh the Patriot dynasty (I cringed every time commentators used that phrase). Although Chris Farley made me appreciate the Bears more, I don't care about them beyond the SNL skits. Thus, . . .

SAINTS V. COLTS

Peyton Manning and the Colts have had too many close calls. Time to get in the game. I'd like to see some Reggie Bush action too. New Orleans needs all the good news it can get.

It was pretty painful to watch the Eagles go mediocre . . . another lost opportunity.

DA bears for super bowl champs! Their defense is playing awesome now.

Eh, i never got on the saints bandwagon. The three things i hate most in the current nfl are:

The Patriots
The Seahawks
Reggie Bush

Superbowl: Chicago vs. Indianapolis

GO COLTS!!!

That game was insane. Absolutely insane. It was like watching a Bengals game, except this time the team won.

Damn straight. I hate the Pats, and I hate Tom Brady with a passion. Tom Brady has yet to win a playoff game where he has to lead a team for a touchdown. He always f'n relied on Vinatieri to win his games. This game, he was forced to score a TD, and bam, throws a pick.

Aye that was a good game. I wrote the Colts off the 1st half of the game. But that was a good comeback. Perhaps the rest of the football nation will see that Brady/Belichick is not the greatest thing in football finally.
