Oh, and also, I was just checking the Apple website. It's remarkable how many times you see little quips like "unlike Vista" or "but in Vista" on there. It's borderline political attack advertisement. Forget telling you why your software is so good, just tell us why the other guy's software is so BAD.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure that in my country that's illegal. :P

Although those walkers ads a while back, and the bank ads they might have changed the rules.

When it goes on to the lengths that Apple goes to, it becomes borderline libel/slander.

Question - if you run Vista on a Mac, you're still vulnerable to the same exploits you would be if you used a PC, yes? So their claim of like "you should get a mac to run vista on because it's more secure" is total noumplapclapture?

Though I've never heard of the word noumplapclapture, it sounds like it's appropriate to describe this ridiculous claim.

When they say "use a Mac" they mean "use an Apple computer with the Mac OS installed on it".

Yes, Apple produce entire systems, their policy is that if you're serious about software development you should do hardware development too. In essence the Mac is whatever Mac OS is running on.
