I hate it when people are pissed about Valentines day.

Maybe if you weren't so bitter, the girl who sees you across the street every day and goes "He would be cute if he didn't look like he was sad all the time and posted his woes on a geeky green website" would go "Hey, that guy is cute, and looks like he is educated and tolerant enough to put up with people on a hip, sexy green internet forum'.

I like Valentine's Day! :D I already know I'm not getting anything from my bf, but I got him beer and bought myself chocolate. I rule.

As I said yesterday, Valentines day doesn't just suck when you're alone, it sucks when you have a girlfriend too (think $). Basically, if you have a Y chromosome, it sucks.

My girlfriend and I both decided not to get each other gifts, and just a dinner will be alright. Of course, if I didn't get a gift for her, she would've been "I was just testing you! You don't care!", and if I did buy it, she would be "I told you not to!! You don't listen to me!".

Regardless, I bought her a small gift (a message in a bottle with a little message on some parchment that I wrote on). Planning on going to a fancy Italian place for dinner on Saturday.

I spent Valentines day evening looking for ghosts in my old Highschool. A kid blew his brains out there in 2002, so it's supposed to be haunted. Sadly, I didn't find any ghost or even a mild bit of creepy, Valentines day sucks .(

I spent Valentines Day watching Tony Lee perform at the Liverpool Uni Guild of Students with a couple of friends. I went to see his show last semester, too. The guy is incredibly funny ('XXX rated hypnotist', for those who haven't heard of him). Some clips of him are on YouTube if you fancy a laugh, although it's definately NSFW.
