Like maevie said, a lot of bars just give lemons. They usually have limes behind the bar for Corona's or whatever, so you could probably ask for a tequila with lime. I take tequila straight anyway, and chase it with a beer.

I can't say marry me - but drink with me? :)

I have 3 methods of tequila:

(1) Straight
(2) With lime and salt (or lemon if it's all they have)
(3) With a shot of soda water - TEQUILA SLAMMERS BABY!

(for those who've not had the pleasure you mix equal measures of tequila and soda water, put your hand over the shot glass, smack it on the bar so it goes mental frothy and then knock it back as quickly as you can - it's genius)

I've shot whiskey and lemonade out my nose before, but never just straight hard alcohol.

My friend likes tequila and clamato juice. I did it a couple times with him one night at a party just to be a good friend (I hate both tequila and clamato), all I remember is pink vomit.
