How long do you keep your computer up?

I turn my laptop off maybe once a week, but thats only when I'm installing something or notice a slowdown.

Longest mine's ever been on is a couple months methinks.

I rarely restart. Only if it's needed for an upgrade, or if I'm upgrading hardware, of course, I turn it off. I don't know what my longest uptime is because I don't keep track of that sort of thing.

I restart if it's forced (read, BSOD) or I need it off for tinkering purposes. Usually about a month at a time.

When Windows was running normally, I could only go a couple weeks before explorer.exe needed to be restarted, and that usually only worked once or twice before I had to reboot. No problems with blackbox.

I used to turn mine off every night. But now I don't have one:gbk:

I left it on constantly when I was at uni, probably a few weeks at a time between restarts. now I'll leave it on if I'm downloading stuff, otherwise it's off when I sleep or leave the house
