[HTML]
<body>
<p>when i get bored at work i like to play alota html or flash games that can run in a window, so that i can play games in between typing. i have found several free games and some costly ones as well that have been allota fun and are good to play at work cus of there low requirement for paying attention. these are some of my favorites: <p>
<br><br>
<ul>
<li>- <a href="http://www.darkgrimoire.com/">dark grimoire</a></li>
<li>- <a href="http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/mindlessviolence">more mindless violence</a></li>
<li>- <a href="http://www.maidmarian.com/">sherwood dungeon</a></li>
<li>- <a href="http://statika.imperiaonline.org/imperia/game/novini.php?games=ok?rand=1221">imperia online</a></li>
<li>- and of course, all sorts of <a href="http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/nes/">roms</a></li>
<li>- o, and i guess i come here sometimes too</li>
</ul>
<br><br>
<p>i just wanted to know if any of u play games like these and what sorts are your favorites. half out of curiosity, and half out of a means of finding more things to play without doing the leg-work.</p>

JoKeR SwAy I'd like to ask you a serious question.

Why do you redirect all of your use of the shift key out of your posts and into your username?
2007-03-29, 8:19 PM #7
why would you make your post in HTML?
[01:52] <~Nikumubeki> Because it's MBEGGAR BEGS LIKE A BEGONI.

two questions; two answers:

i did it once when i was twelve when i first got on the internet and i thought it was cool. since then ive become attached to it and use it everywhere i go, cus its just sorta me. even though allotta other people do it to and im sure its also "them", its just kinda who ive always been online.

i wanted the names of the games i listed to also be hyper links, and i figured i may as well make the whole thing html rather than be going in and out of it when needed. i THOUGHT it would be simpler, but no. it was actually pretty lame. o well.

You have to use BBcode on the forums, not HTML.

Here's your links reformatted

dark grimoire
more mindless violence
sherwood dungeon
imperia online
roms
Stuff

All of your posts fall into the second catagory.
Wow i never thought I would ever be a grammer nazi.
[Also Echo I dont give a crap who ignores me, Its better that way because then some stupid arguments never happen]
2007-03-29, 9:21 PM #20
You need to have a reasonable understanding of "grammar" if you are going to be a "grammar nazi."

Hint: You misspelled grammar.

Well that explains why you use unnecessary capital letters in your name, but why don't you use capital letters in your posts?

You don't use the enter key nearly enough either. I'm just trying to help.

i dont use caps at the begginings of my sentances cus it helps me type faster if i ignore things that are obvious enough to not be neccessary. and i dont use the enter key cus i type fast enough to just blow through what im saying as i think of it so i dont offten stop to think what it looks like as im typing it, i just sorta hit the keys and type things as they pop into my mind. so sometimes i think things and i type them very clearly, others i just type them and they come out all haphazard and screwy.

ya, and i had to go and display exactly how noobie i was by splattering naked html all over my first post. now i have to sit here and defend my grammer.

next time i have something to say ill just paste a red target on my *** and walk out into a field full of bulls. it'll get to the point a lot quicker.

[Psst... ROMs are frowned upon here.]

If I were mighty hercules
I'd let my friends just call me "Herc"
These are the things I think about at work

There's a link in the Post Reply area (I'm pretty sure) that shows you how to use bbcode. To make something a link, use [ url=www.google.com ]"Gugle it lol"[/ url ] without the spaces.

-And don't worry about quirky stuff you do that's just "you". Unless it's lowercapsman-style typing, which isn't cool.

Why should I care what you have to say if you don't care enough to express it properly?

Alice Shade was a terrible newbie. And just like I suspected: when it became apparent that she wasn't going to win her internet crusade, she disappeared.

Nobody attacked Alice Shade because she was new. People "attacked" her (rather, contradicted her and told her to spend more time lurking) because she was annoying and never actually wanted to fit in anyway.

And on that note, welcome to ignore! :hist101:

And the "fitting in" issue with this guy any different? It seems there is no effort to "fit in," similar in a way to Alice's case, yet this is "newb crucifiction" but it wasn't with her? That's the point I was trying to make.

Let me tell you about the general feel of this site. We don't like AOL speak at all. I hate it with a passion. You are using AOL speak by typing "words" such as "u" and "cus." In some forums, the way you're typing will earn you a ban. Be glad we don't do that...although I would like to. Also, it wouldn't hurt to at least capitalize the first letter of the sentence. It makes posts easier to read. This post is easier to read because we are all acclimated to English sentence structure and proper capitalization.

this is not easy to read because there is not a single word that is capitalized. yes there is a period but that still doesnt help matters. notice how i didnt use apostrophies in their proper places? that makes it even harder to read because we have to figure out that doesnt = does'nt = does not.

Moral of the post: It would behoove of you to make use of shift and enter keys. They really do not require any additional effort and will not slow down your typing by a significant amount. And it would do wonders to improve your reputation here.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

We agree then and that makes us friends. Let's not let Freelancer drive us apart anymore, Echoman.

There is a large difference between this guy and Alice. He types awkwardly and will probably work on it when he figures out that's the way things are done here. Alice spat on science. Then she kicked science in the shins. That will get you on Massassi's **** list much faster than merely taking a while to acclimate, like this guy.
