Bathroom Hair.

I, personally feel that this is a very important and over looked subject. Lets discuss the wookielings we find huddled by our bathtub/shower drains in fear. How big are your's? Post pics if you got em'. If not. Take some pics.

A very fresh example.

i lived with a friend for the summer whose girlfriend and roommate (also a girl) used the shower constantly. Oh the humanity, and clogged drains.

Yes. I know that horror. My brother tends to use the same shower. And since he's currently going bald. . .well, there is usually a lot of gross hair in there.

I agree. Women should have to make their natural hair into a wig and stay bald so they can shower.

I hope in the future there are advanced forms of drains that do away with hair clogs.

Here at the dorms, this is a (somewhat) problem.

I'm moving to a an apartment where I'll have my own bathroom. My future roommate is a ginger. If the hair in there isn't dark, then I'll know that someone who shouldn't be is using my bathroom.

I clean my shower drain out about once every couple of months. Yeah.

I especially like how it kind of looks like a decomposing sea-creature.

The 'sticky' part is soap. I took the photo not long after having a shower.
I don't know how it gets so knotted from getting caught in the drain but there you go. In the clump on the right you can see some of it is part of my sponge that has broken off. It looks a little green and meshy. I have no idea what that gooey brown part is on the left clump.

Thankfully the dorms don't seem to have such a problem, but at home the drain has an absurdly small opening and it gets pretty bad.

The gross part about finding hair in my bathroom is that the hairs I find are long and curly, which means it's not from the hair on my head...

... Seriously. How hard is it to grab a strip of toilet paper, grab whatever hair you shedded that shower, and toss it in the toilet or the trashcan?

That's what I do after every shower.

There's only one shower in my apartment, shared between my roommate and myself, but we don't have hair problems. Also, we clean it with Comet regularly, so no issues. However, when my roommate has his girlfriend over for the weekend, the drain gets clogged and just plain gross. She won't pick up after herself, and he won't pick up after her. It gets rather annoying.

Despite everything I've told in the past, I don't actually get much bathroom hair. Or then some magic genie comes to take them away when I'm sleeping. Maybe that's it.

Men lose some of their hair between ages 18 and 24. The hairline retreats slightly. This isn't balding, this is just a maturing hair line. Usually there is a long period of time between this phase and when the hairline starts retreating again. Men this age clog drains. It's as simple as that. Also, you probably don't have any body hair to shed. Because you aren't men

The yellow and brownish black staining on the porcelain / vinyl is soap scum / mold. I can't stand to use a bathroom that's not completely clean, which is why it's my girlfriend's responsibility to scrub that crap up. Nastiness. If a tub is supposed to be white, it should be 100% completely white. There should NEVER be any discoloration.
