I'm shutting down the site in a few minutes temporarily while I restore backups of the attachments.

Well, it depends on how fast the server can unzip the backup file, how fast I can extract the attachments from it, and then how fast I can load said attachments into a temporary table. Once that is done, I will shut down the web server, perform the restore, then start it back.

I want to download every single last level\mod we have to a secondary HDD i have lyeing around. Is that even possible?

well, there are some levels that are duplicates. gonk hole is also a level made by pugler (i think) that was filled to to brim with unused .mat files. there was a second version without said files as well.

This post scared the **** out of me 'till I read it.

But yeah I want to download all the mods/levels/tools on Massassi, cus JK was a huge part of my childhood. Guess that explains why I am kind of jacked up. Anyway that is WAY too much stuff to download, for myself as well as for Massassi's bandwidth, methinks.

I mean, it would have been painstakingly obvious as a joke, but still.
This signature agrees with the previously posted signatures. To violate previously posted signatures is a violation of the EULA for this signature and you will be subject to unruly behavior.

I'm not a real big fan of April Fools. In fact, this year I just stayed off the internet on that day. About 7 years ago I read something I thought was for real, repeated it in front of my entire class at college, and then found out later it was a joke. I felt like a complete dumbass. (not that anyone there ever realized what I repeated wasn't true, but still...)

We should publish an "offline" version that has all the level info and ratings in text files along with the level files themselves. That would be cool. We probably couldn't handle everyone downloading it at the same time, but a few people a day shouldn't hurt us.

It's already been done.

You aren't helping. You're being annoying.

Theres no real way for you to back up all of the files without spending money. Money you should just spend on a newer better PC.
