Man, who the hell likes tattoos on a female?
2007-04-23, 4:39 PM #1
Seriously, does any guy here prefer females with some random scribble or stupid symbol on them? I don't mean that you are apathetic or anything either, I mean a tattoo turns you on and makes a woman go from like a 5 to a 7, or some other arbitrary jump in the scale. It's like putting graffiti on the grand canyon; if something is naturally beautiful, adding random crap to it doesn't make it better.

Although if someone were able to cover the grand canyon in graffiti, that would be impressive. That aside...

What say you, group of random guys on a forum?

Oh, and maybe pics to illustrate points would be warranted ;)

meh, either way works for me. it depends on the girl and the tattoo. i knew this amazingly hot chick who was amazingly hot until she got half her arm sheathed in leopard print.

my g/f's got a few tatts, they're small and inconspicuous, and at certain times they are incredibly sexy.

in short my vote is for neither option.

A large tattoo would turn me off from a girl, but a small/reasonably sized one wouldn't turn me either way. Although I suppose it'd make a talking point. I guess from my point of view, a tattoo can only really be significantly negative.

By 'large' I mean something like an arm sheathed in tribal artwork, and by 'reasonable' I mean a small design that isn't obtrusive on the rest of the person.

It's the personality that counts lol

Tattoos and piercings are a real turn off for me.

Since 90%+ of people with tattoos have horrible tattoos, I'd say no most of the time, but if they're awesome enough to be in that small group of people where the body mod (tats, piercings, scars) actually adds to their body, I'm all for it.

I agree with Roach, most tattoos aren't particularly nice. However a decent tattoo is golden in my book.

I love broad sweeping generalizations.

Yeah, a lot of tattoos look bad. That doesn't mean that they ALL look bad. Saying "tattoo on girl = ugly" doesn't make any sense, it's a case by case thing.

That's cool I guess

And the girl.

I've seen some that are turnoffs...some that I don't mind...but come to think of it, I can't really think of any I've seen that were a turn-on..I guess I'd fall in the 'mostly apathetic' section.

I think we should turn this into a "post pictures of hot girls with tattoos" thread.

Or someone could just upload the Suicide Girls archives. THREAD OVER.

I dunno, I think tattoos on the right person can be pretty ****ing hot.

Case in point, a girl I had... a ... ummm... "special" relationship with not too long ago.

Bleh, I can't stand women who are covered with tattoos and/or piercings. Tattoos are an eye sore to me and facial piercings are as appealing as having silver pimples.

Personally, I like tattoos and piercings on females, although there are some things better suited for some people.

I fail to see any evidence to support your argument.

If a girl is going to have a tattoo, I prefer something small and inconspicuous. The whole "cover an entire stretch of skin" thing, while artistically appreciable, is a turn-off.

You seriously look at those tattoos and think "OOOOOOOoooooooo" or whatever, even moreso than you would if they weren't there?

Definitely.

However I've been with girls that I can't see looking good with tattoos. Depends on the person.
2007-04-23, 7:22 PM #28
It seriously depends on the girl and the tattoo. My girlfriend has a tattoo... it doesn't bother me at all, but I also don't really like it. I'm neutral.

Depends. Some girls it looks really really hot on. Others it just adds to the uniqueness. Yet others don't need to wear tattoos.

Yeah, it depends. A lot of girls have like a random star or heart or some lame crap on the back of the calf, that's really stupid. A tattoo resembling that body scarification pattern in that other thread was pretty neat.

I love tattoos as long as they aren't trashtastic. No harley or other "I live in a trailor" style tattoos, but some like those Big T showed above are definitely a-ok in my book.

My fiancee has a Sagittarius on her left shoulder. I find it attractive, but If she was covered in tattoos, I think it would be less than pretty.

I'm with lord kuat on this, If something is already beautiful why change it?

ARMPITS
2007-04-23, 10:17 PM #39
Well, armpits aren't beautiful. Plus, shaving armpit hair offers other benefits. Body hair retains odor, so shaving reduces odor. It also makes application of deodorant easier since the hair doesn't get in the way.
