Hahaha, okay. That's a funny one.
Oh, because you listen to a band that has Armenian-American members in it means you're the president of the Armenian Culture Club of Massassi.
God knows why a non-Armenian would choose to back up the Armenian people. They're known for being devious, tasteless and mostly ineffectual. During Byzantine times they were dubious, hesitant allies at best and a rebellious nuisance that paid lip service to the Emperor and the Patriarch at worst. It was because of their poor defense that Turkic peoples invaded Anatolia. They were sleepy servants of the Ottoman Empire, and a existed as a tiny Soviet satellite until the USSR dissolved. Today they are known for owning car dealerships, gaudy jewelry and wearing dress shoes with sweatpants.
The Armenians were always jealous of the advancements of the Turkish people, and tried to make a scene to draw attention to themselves. The West wasn't listening, for good reason. The Turkish nation does not have an unblemished record of human rights, in fact, their treatment of the Kurdish people is abominable. This is a region known for violence and division, with Christian violence against Muslim and vice versa. But that still does not negate that there is no proof of what the Armenians claimed occured, and is simply slander that too many people have bought into.
