ahh, those were the good ol' days. Real one on one contact with the gods back then. Sure, some may have complained, but Odysseus didn't really want to get home anyway.

Or any one of the large number of men, women, and children that received... special visits from the gods. Maybe Semele gets the prize- she saw Zeus in his full glory, which blasted her and her house into oblivion.

I think he liked Penelope a lot. Otherwise why would he spend seven years on an island with a sea nymph who wanted to make him immortal weeping for a return to his home?

Actually you're thinking about Purgatory. Hades is not a Christian belief, it is the underworld from ancient Greece. The "hell" part of it is called Tartarus (sp?). Em, anyways. As you were.

Well, one thing is at least clear: Who ever created this spambot already claimed his seat on the express train to hell.

Right?

Please tell me that whole analogy was one big horrible joke, or I shall pray for humanity, and I sure as hell am NOT religious.

hehe, it was about 75% said in jest, Yosh (which I thought I made pretty clear). The analogy only works with the specific examples I brought up, but I thought it was humorous.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
