Good shows that were cancelled
2004-07-18, 1:27 AM #1
A few years ago, Fox aired two hilarious shows, called Greg the Bunny, and the Tick (live action). Unfortunately, both shows were cancelled after only one season. I believe they were replaced with some reality TV show. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif]

A few days ago though, I found out that the Tick was released on DVD, which made me extremely happy. I'm going to buy it as soon as possible. It's also rumored that Greg the Bunny might be released on DVD by Christmas. I hope it is.

So, post your favorite shows that ended too soon.

Luckily, Family Guy is coming back, thanks to DVD sales and Adult Swim.

GBK, is that the show with the guy who got killed, then some group gave him a new body and brought him back, but the rule was he couldn't be with his family ever again? or something. That was an interesting show.

Yes, the live action tick was genius!

Warburton was PERFECT for the tick IMO.
The look, the voice, Just perfect!

Firefly and John doe.

Firefly is great, and john doe was pretty decent, not the best. But an interesting concept and fairly good show.

Never seen a live action Tick before, I expect it was quite strange... thankfully Family Guy is coming back, so i'm just gonna focus my fury and sadness at the severe lack of Futurama... was exceptionally annoyed when that got cancelled.

You might be interested in knowing that Alf is getting a talk show. I'm not sure when it airs though.

Did you know the first season of Zim is on DVD? My friend bought it. I'm not sure if any of the other seasons are out yet.

I thought of another show: Dilbert. Atleast the comic is still going.

Dark angel. I loved that show. The second season wasn't the best, but the first was great.

YES! Andy Richter Controls the Universe was a great show...I wish they hadn't cancelled it, but I guess I can see why...it was too 'out there' for mainstream audiences.

My favorite episode was the one with the Russian woman who keeps making up facts about animals.

...and the racist ghost of the company's founder was absolutely great.

Futurama.

And I dunno if they cancelled it or what, but Black Books. Actually I doubt any of you have even heard of it, but that show was decidedly hilarious.

Are you joking? What was so special about that show, it was just some kids show wasn't it? I only saw one episode, so maybe I missed some deep underlying theme. If you like it though, it's still shown on Nickelodeon (or maybe it's NickToons).

Isn't Firefly a show like Andromenda? Cheap B-Grade Actors that used to have shows that air during the day, that nobody cares about..Like Xena or Beast Master (Or some of the actors might be no-name)? Horrible Acting, cheesey plot, worst costume design ever? I hate those shows [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] (If it is one of those of course)

That it was.
Just want to clear something up here, people. Seinfeld and Friends weren't canceled. They (people working on, creating the shows, actors) decided to end their run. That's a lot differnt than the network pulling the plug.
