Have none of you ever been to a convention? When things like this are presented for the first time to a large convention audience, they'll clap and cheer. This was not like a typical viewing at a movie theater. Some people might clap at the end of a movie if it was really good, like PotC or LotR, but not for every movie. That's just stupid.

Mayor West would have been perfect.

Failing that, it should have been Mort or Giant Chicken.

Kind of amazing how they translated every scene from the movie into Family Guy style animation along with the music. Not super funny, but still amusing.

I was thinking the Giant Chicken too. :P
nope.

Your theaters suck. I hate people that so much as whisper in movie theaters, if I was in a theater with people clapping, I might have to kill someone.

This is obviously why I don't go to movies. It's expensive and not worth it to put up with idiots.

No, people who clap at movies ARE idiots. Its a movie, the projector doesnt need praise.

Exactly. I'll applaud at the end of a good movie as a small sign of appreciation, but DURING a film? That's just stupid.

Do you need a witness? I clap because it is my bodies reaction to enjoyment. And why do you people care too much? It's a theater with people in it, not your house where your selfish ideologies about proper times to clap and laugh are moot.

Huh? You got a big group of people who share the same interests (Star Wars nerds), it's not surprising they would like to add to the excitement of being together by expressing their joy of the genre. Have you been to a baseball game or any sporting event? People get involved with each other because they all love sports and they are surrounded by people who share that same love.

I have no problems with people laughing at the cinema, but clapping at a screen is just weird.
Oh, and there is such a thing as laughing too much, it's when you can't hear half the lines because the audience is going nuts at something mildly amusing.

Those guys were laughing too much =p

Yeah it was moderately funny. Not the best, or even close to the best, family guy thing I've ever seen.

So is it going to be a whole movie or what?

I dont mind the laughing and clapping at proper times. Its the people that talk amoungst themselves loudly and text message during a movie that i find really annoying
