I've been up since 6 AM yesterday burning DVDs. I hate my job.

Then quit and stop whining, you little prick.

My first job was working in a steel mill. My job was to carry the freshly formed and very hot rebar and load it onto pallets, so it could be moved and used for construction. I also had to lug around huge pieces of raw steel so it could be smelted and shaped. It was summer, 2000. The temperature was 105F, plus the heat of the smelting and forging mahcines bumped it up to 130. I worked 7 hours a day, 6am to 1:30pm. I was 16. I didn't have car. I got up at 4:30, rode my bike to work and back. When I started, I weighed 165. When I finished at the end of the summer, I weighed 180. I made $7/hr.

Stop whining, *****.

I'm doing co-op with a fantastic small company.

Where's the problem?

My damn health. I've been getting viciously sick every week, starting around Tuesday-Thursday, and lasts around 2 1/2 days. Massive leg inflammation, combined with high fever and tons of pain. I literally can't work for two days, and there's nothing the doctors can do.

Stop whining. >.>

Uphill through the snow both ways? With no shoes on your feet? After a slice of bread for breakfast (if you were lucky)?
2007-06-15, 9:16 AM #47
No, it was only uphill on the way back. And there was no snow! It was 105F outside!
2007-06-15, 9:24 AM #48
Ahah, but the part about the shoes and bread was true?
2007-06-15, 10:32 AM #49
Almost. Old shoes for breakfast and bread on his feet.

I'm technically the head of IT at work, but only work full time through the summer. During the school year the day-to-day stuff gets handled by another guy, who works in a different, non-IT department. He's somewhat computer-savvy and went through a computer programming.. err.. program at the local community college. I can only come into work a couple of days a week when I'm in school due to my schedule. Seriously, EVERYTHING this guy works on I usually end up having to fix. It's frustrating, but since the solution to such a problem is usually "do it yourself" and I can't, there's really nothing I can do but live with it.

...Wait so the Wikisassi page you made about Spe telling him to shut the hell up about your mother in retaliation about 10 minutes later was just coincidence?

Shut the **** up.

I just checked the entire history of my page and no mention of my mother is—or ever was—to be found.
