Seems to be several Massassians that have lost weight recently. I've lost 26 pounds since the 3rd week in January.

Post your recent weight loss, or your phatness.

A year and a half ago I lost 60 pounds. 38in waist to a 30in, XL shirts to S. 'Tis nice.

It was amazing how little I had to do in order to lose it - cut out soda and just stayed active. Whenever I was at my computer I would take a break every half hour and do some pull ups, crunches, or curls.

I'm 10 stone 4. Which means I've lost four pounds since coming to University.

But that might be because my eating habits are totally screwy.

5'10" and ~ 150 lbs

I eat whatever I like, go to the gym twice a week, run around 6km (or row 2km, depends on how I feel) each time and swim 1.5km. Then onto the weights for around 30 mins.

I've never been more than around 65-70kg (150 lbs) even during my gap year before uni when I sat on my arse all day fixing phones, the same goes for my older brother, we just can't get fat :D

I put on about 10 pounds in the fall because I hurt my knee at the end of last summer and couldn't play soccer for three months. Lost it all, starting at the end of January. I imagine I'll get a lot leaner this summer between my on going fire conditioning class, soccer, lacrosse and after going out on couple of dispatches.

95 lbs, and I'm supposed to be 85. 10 pounds is a BIG amount for my size, but I'm unable to do a lot of exercises without hurting myself and becoming even more inactive. I eat really well, so I can't solve much with my diet.

That was pretty unnecessary.

6' 128 lb.

Last time I tried to gain weight I lifted 3x a week and ate 2800 calories per day. Not only was it really hard to eat that much, but in 3 weeks I gained 1 pound before giving up :(
2007-06-18, 3:09 PM #28
Wow, and I thought I was a hard gainer! I feel for you, man.

I'm 6'2. I was around 140 pounds when I went into my first year of university. I gained about 20 from just eating. I didn't take in enough calories beforehand, and an all you can eat meal plan did wonders:) . Now I'm sitting at around 185 after working out for a little over a year, and am having to struggle pretty hard for every extra pound. I'm aiming for about 200.

I lost 10 pounds this summer.

But I already looked great (not counting my face lawlz) to begin with. I just wanted to rub it in.

6', 200-something.

Still hawt, though.

I'm 5'10-5'11". Last time I weighed myself I was 125 (all muscle... haha) but I've been lifting for about a month or so. It's easy to see a change in tone/definition but I know from experience that it doesn't always equal mass. I'm kind of afraid to weigh myself again... I'd like to have gained at least 5 lbs, but I know without supplements it's difficult to gain.

I don't own a scale, but I plan to weigh myself again at the end of the month. My goal at one point was to gain 25 lbs over the summer, but I've quickly learned that's not a realistic goal. 10 lbs would be good... 15-20 would be great.
2007-06-18, 6:24 PM #35
You don't need supplements to gain.

Supplements only help you to gain quicker.

If you want some help pm me and I'll tell you the best formula for gaining weight based on your body type, which is probably ectomorphic.

I'm going to be getting my share of MREs this summer. They'll even be better than some of the food we'll get fed in fire camps.
