Dear Dagensnyheter, I got 90% just like the last time (IIRC).

Got 5 (why have 9 judges when you could have 10, dangit) and 11 (Preamble your ***) wrong, guessed on 6, 8 and 19.

5. How many Supreme Court justices are there?
10 is not correct.
9

19. What INS form is used to apply to become a naturalized citizen?
Form N-200 "Petition for Naturalization" is not correct.
N-400 "Application for Naturalization"

I think the INS form question is a bit unfair.

the quiz was to determine if you would be able to get a citizenship. in order to do that you'd have to fill out that form.

I think the best question on there was about who in the US government has the authority to declare war. 2/3rds of the US and 1/4 of the government would get that question wrong.
2007-07-03, 9:55 AM #13
Yeah the INS form one is lame.

90%. I got 8 and 18 wrong. 18 confused me, probably because the Prez is the Commander in Chief and can deploy troops even if Congress doesn't declare war . For 8... I mean c'mon, when's the last time YOU read over the Constitutional Amendments?

I got the naturalization one right because YOU POSTED THE ANSWER RIGHT HERE IN CLEARTEXT .

I got a 90%. Anyone who got the declare war one wrong needs to be slapped.

I missed the Patrick Henry one and the voting amendment one.

I forgot to look at my answer for that one. What was the right one?
nope.

No he can't, not legally. :suicide:

The President can engage in offensive police actions with exactly the same kind of constitutional hair-splitting that makes Cheney a member of the legislative.

No, I'm one of those as well.

100%. I don't even think it needs to be said that I guessed on the INS form question. Pretty sure everyone had to guess on that one.

It's lame to use it as one of the questions on that web site, because clearly their target audience (people who were born in america and therefore never need to fill out the form) will get it wrong. They could have chosen another question from the pool.

19. What INS form is used to apply to become a naturalized citizen?

Correct
N-400 "Application for Naturalization"

How could that question POSSIBLY be hard?

"Hmm. I think I'll apply to become a naturalized citizen... lets see here... ah! Here it is. The Application for Naturalization."

Unless you assumed they were just making up form names... but thats not American.

I missed number 2 and number 3. I was going to put 1787, but that stupid play "1776" threw me off.
