I like the idea of one on the inside of the wrist, as long as it was small. No idea about fonts I'm afraid. I get what people are saying about the don't settle/never settle thing, but I actually think, as a personal reminder, don't settle sounds better. It's less contrived, and has the benefit of actually being what you have said to yourself. Oh, and I really like having the full stop (period) at the end.

The thing you about UV tattoos is that the scars are usually still visible in normal light. They're not invisible until there's a black light.

Going down my ribs on my left side. Obviously, I'm not getting "some names of friends, centered" but names of some of my friends. No scroll, no weird design, just letters in Verdana font.

not sure about font style. but on the inside of the forearm just below the elbow would be a good spot. you would be able to see it whenever you wanted to, but its enough out of the way that everyone else wouldn't always see it.


also... tattoos on the arm dont hurt too bad. unless they are near the armpit

I'm getting "don't settle" or, you know, nothing. Stop suggesting I get a different tattoo.

You all have to realize that my forearm is about 5 inches long. Below my elbow and on my wrist are almost the same thing.

I think I'm going to get it lengthwise up my arm on my wrist area in as small of letter as I can.

Probably. I have been trying to find another font that looks good REALLY small on skin, but none of them are really that clear.

I've thought about getting them tattooed in reverse so I can read them in the miirror too. Not sure about that.

Not to derail the thread, But I saw your post and it reminded me, I've been thinking lately and I think when it comes time to reup I'm going to join the Marines as an Observer.

Do you know if my Parachutist badge would carry over to the Corps or would I have to retake the course?
