So stupid. But seriously, youd think he would get worried when the guy started posting pictures proving he was crossing each states border...

Wow. Guess this goes to show you never know how whacked the guy you're antagonizing can be. Same principle applies to road rage, I suppose (though that's more of a "caught up in the moment" type of thing).

Hahah! That's so awesome. You've got to at least admire the guy for having the balls to go through with what he said he would do. And hey, he finished something he started.

I guess thats why it is a good thing I don't put my address on internets like a big dumb jackass.

I'm kinda glad that guy did that.

I mean, it's crazy and all, but people go around flaming on the internet for no other reason than "just because." They insult people from their armchairs, miles away, with absolutely no regard to consequences. For this guy, though, there was a consequence.

It's by no means 'okay' to travel cross country and burn someones home down, but I'm really not outraged that it happened.

Selling Rob's address, as he gave it to some guy he met on the internet.

PM me.

Seriously... you think people CAN'T find your address online? Just because you personally didn't put it out there, doesn't mean it can't be found.

Yeah, because everyone on internet is a master A class Wizard hackerteer 2600 club member.

This kinda reminds me of that story of these two guys that were playing a game of CS on a LAN. One of the guys killed the other in the game with a knife and being gloating about it. The guy other guy got so pissed off that he got a REAL knife and stabbed the guy, mocking back with "How you like that *****?!"

You don't have to be a master A class Wizard hackerteer 2600 club member to figure out where someone lives.

Are you serious? Its the internet. I can call you an idiot. It doesnt mean you should come burn my home down. Saying that you're glad there was a consequence means you're okay with what happened.

In conclusion: you're out of your mind.

I'm okay with what happened.

Only I wish that it was a character he killed in a video game that got pissed and spawned from the Bermuda Triangle (created by a UFO) and worked it's way to his home to kill him, but he somehow drew a 870 Marine shotgun from his inventory and freaking destroyed the vile beast.

However, such things are not to be in a world such as ours.

I think more what he's getting at is people are ****ing jerks on the internet. Anonymity + normal person = jackass. So, he's glad that they actually had a consequence for being a total idiot. You'd never be able to get away with this crap face to face, so why the internet? It's a double standard.

And fire is simply a state that molecules vibrate so hard that they break their bonds...

I think.

So? So what? If someone can really rile you up with speech then either a.) you're weak, or b.) it rings true somehow, and you don't like it. In which neither case should you retaliate with anything more than words. To resort to violence over something someone says is pathetic.

The article says it was more than just words. They photoshopped him all up. Dunno about you, but that would piss me off a lot more than words.
