You're missing the point, and yet you call me names because I state my opinion. It's not like our medical personnel will go to treat people in Mexico because they need it. You probably think that preventing potential illegals still in Mexico from getting here is a crime because it "prevents treatment."
Hospitals are under hard times (even closures), especially in the state of California. With the millions without health insurance (high percentage of illegals), they take a beating because they treat patients while being unpaid under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985 (stating that hospitals are obligated to treat the uninsured without reimbursement.)
But the long haul - To prevent skyhigh tax hikes for this stuff (which further burden the economy, employers, and the middle class) enforce stricter policies including a physical barrier to prevent MORE ILLEGALS. I'm not saying repeal the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act of 1985, as it is humanely the right thing to do. Start building!
