This thread is all about taking what the person above said out of context and starting a lame flame-war over it. What a fun forum game!

I read up many articals on Doom3 interviews and from the quakecon. Apperently, even though it was 4 player DM only, it is exteremly immersive and nothing that has been seen before.

Btw, the pcgamer review gave it a 94%... the reviewer also noted that it scared the **** out him through out the whole game.

Oh and that's taken out of context and not even taken the wrong way. More depth != better storyline

Alright. He's still saying it's incorrect to say Doom's storyline had more depth than anything at the time as Strife's story "owned" Doom's (which I'll just assume includes having more depth).

Strife wasn't in the Doom era. It was released 3 years later.

So you couldn't simply point that out rather than making a snide remark like "I'm missing something here. Maybe it's any validity that your post would/should have"?

Banks and banks of humming machinery! I've never seen so many knobs. We're going to have to do something, Charlie! Try pushing that button there. No? How about that one? No, not that one either. I know! I'll try pushing this one. Hold my hat will you? Good fellow.
