Which is why he shouldn't be directing this one. I honestly don't think he's the greatest director.

Out of the Star Wars movie he has directed, ANH has to be the best. Out of all Star Wars movies period, ESB is my favorite. Stop Motion AT-ATs own all. I seriously couldn't imagine them any other way.

I agree. ILM would have probably made something that looked obviously computer generated and that moved too fluidly to be real.

Decent title. I don't really care about the title; I just hope that Ep3 makes up for the disappointments of the other prequels. Ep2 improved on Ep1, so there should be a logical increment in "goodness" with RotS.

</font>

*blink* What if the official Star Wars stuff sucks? Critics aren't allowed to have constructive ideas of what would make a good movie? George Lucas isn't a god... he made Episode 1, didn't he? Oh and I'd like to point out that the example of "Beam me up Scotty" is ridiculous. A misquote is not the same as offering a different perspective on how things should be done. But that example also fails to give any reason why it's a bad thing...

I think Revenge of the Sith is good. I had a feeling this would be the title. It might not be original because it is similar to that of Return of the Jedi, but I think that's a good thing. I think that it A) helps link the prequels back to the originals B) shows that Episode 3 is basically the opposite of Return of the Jedi and C) uh... I don't have anything else, I just wanted to end with C.

Right. Something of the Something. Like the Empire Strikes Back and the Phantom Menace. And what's wrong with titles starting with the? Most movies start with the. A New Hope is a decent title. I personally think the best title is the Phantom Menace. Even though the movie kinda blows.

Both of whom seemed like equally whiny brats to me. I'm so glad Luke only showed a tiny bit of that in ANH and then it left his character.

I really like that title. I like it how the new movies' titles are parallel to the old ones.
The Pantom Menace - A New Hope --> both describe a kind of feeling
The Attack of the Clones - The Empire Strikes Back --> both titles are about warfare
Revenge of the Sith - Return of the Jedi --> both are about retaliation (sp?)

This title makes sense. After all, Lucas had originally titled Return of the Jedi "Revenge of the Jedi" and only changed it after the title had been leaked to the public. Maybe this is his way of bringing that back.

I saw impi's thing from the start. Not to mention, the movies are carbon copies of eachother:

TPM - ANH
A boy is recruited from his home to go save the world. A royalty is saved. A high asteemed Jedi is killed, which effects a dynamic character. Main character establishes himself as a capable pilot.

AotC - ESB
Main character has to leave where he is happy in order to save someone he loves. Characters find themselves on a strange new planet. A big war rages there. Main character establishes himself as a capable Jedi.

RotS - RotJ
Main character finds a deeper meaning inside of himself. Tempted by the dark-side. Goes on a great trek to defeate enemies. Main character establishes himself as trully good/evil.

I'm sure I could tell you more of what's going to be in RotS by reading into the plot of RotJ. It's actually pretty funny, really.

"Dark Force Rising" would be a much better title for Ep. 2. Too bad it was used for one of the books.

If you could make your own for that price... why not spend the same amount of money to have it premade and sent to you? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

That book would have probably made a better movie though. Not that Episode 2 was bad... that book was awesome.

Agreed.

When I first heard it, I didn't believe it because it just sounded too predictable and not something that took alot of effort to put into it. But it mirrors RotJ, so I like it. RotS.

Damn straight. AT-ATs shouldn't move with any fluidity. Lord knows if ESB was made today they'd move like a human.

Like it ^^^ - that made me chuckle [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]. Personally, I always favoured ESB - I thought the Yavin Battle lasted perhaps a little too long in ANH to merit being the best. That said, you can't take anything away from ANH - it is, after all, the original Star Wars roots [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] - that and Alec Guiness [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]; that's the only one part that I really hope to see a clear, unambigous transition from in RotS. I really hope Ewan McGregor manages to pull off this transition cleanly - I will admit that I'm happy with what we've seen so far, although there is so much more to add, which will (hopefully [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]) be shown in RotS...
