Well, technically the anniversary isn't until Sunday, but I'll be out of town so I'm posting it now.
On September 30th, 1997 I went into Circuit City and grabbed one of the first copies of Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. I still remember loaded the game on my trusty Pentium 166 w/no 3D card and running at a steady 15 fps in software mode. Ahhh, the good ol days.
10 years later the game is still enjoyable to play, namely in part to the hard work of the die-hard editors that refuse to call it quits. Thanks guys/gals. Yes, JK is 10 years old, but it would have been long since forgotten if not for you guys. So in my eyes you guys deserve just as much credit (if not more) then the games creators.
