I still have the original booklet, cds, cd case, and the strategy guide cause I couldn't find that damm hole-in-the-wall on level 17 to get outside.....

I remember JKTB, I managed to save the source code and stuff for the mod, yet I don't have the levels, so I can't play it, and I also don't have the templates too... :suicide: anyone have the levels????

Long Live JK!

Dang, it's been ten years already. I can remember finding the Admirals Command Chamber back around 2000, I think it was, and just being stunned at the amount of levels that I could download and play. Fun times.

I do not have the original box, I didn't have a PC when it came out and I was a little kid, so I got it in '99 I think. I've still got the box, CDs, original flimsy little CD case, manual, and the strategy guide that my uncle game me, all in mint condition. Kinda picky that way. Back then strategy guides were actually worth something, they actually went into detail and contained a lot of useful information, as opposed to the ~50 page guides that you find today. Half-Life 2 has the best guide I've seen in a long time, and it came out in 2004.

The last time I played JK was when that Rolling mod was released. That was pretty fun, in a "this is kind of weird" kind of way.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

My original JK CD2 has a big crack in it (the spindles in the CD case must've pushed it too hard?). Fortunately I also have a CDR of it I burned off my cousin's copy. Good times.

I got the original MotS CD too.

The original instruction books are somewhere around here, not sure where.

Hey do any utahsassians want to get together with Phantom-
Seraph and I, and maybe Clutter, and play some JK on or near the birthday day?

I can't remember another FPS that I was so attached to (with the exceptions of HL and DX). They don't make Star Wars games like they used to . . .

I remember as a kid years younger being so mystified by the dark world of JK and MotS SP. Damn, just the game manuals were so bad-***. Then stupid JO and JA came along and made it all cartoony and super lame.

Ive never played a game since with cooler cut scenes or story line. I wish i could play it for the first time again :v:
Take that there and put it in here

Well, I'm a bit late for the party.

But still have to pay tribute to a fantastic game. It'd been a while since I loaded it up on the compy, but the new JKE project brought it out of retirement.

So I put it back on my system. What seemed to take up so much space when I first got it in 1997 seems so little now. But my oh my, what a fantastic thing packed into those megabytes.

The only game I've ever played with cinematic cutscenes. And assuredly the only one EVER with cutscenes of that quality. (IMO, but I'm sure you'll all agree). Compelling characters, excellent gameplay. And with an active fan community that kept me going for years.

Though new games come and go, and new Jedi Knight sequels, JK will always have a very special place in my heart. So I raise a glass to it, and to all of you - the finest fan community I've come across in my travels.

That being said...I vote we keep this going for another ten years. Just for kicks :) Between the lot of us, we could certainly arrange a revival or three along the way.

Hah, I can play the falling sound followed by the *CRUNCH*! sound over and over in my head crystal clear like it was yesterday. I've fallen off my fair share of cliffs in my day. :awesome:

Because last time I brought an emon into my house my sister had a baby! :colbert: (I don't have a sister, nor has ((nor will one ever will!)) an emon set foot in my house :D )

Haha. Yeah, I'm thinking we should get together and meet up, hang out, and play jk.

Basically because I fear the destabilizing influence of halo 3 on my life.

How does spending your free time making silly hacks make you the "God of all cogging?"

The lay community always treats cogging as if its something mystical and extremely difficult...it's not.

that's because the "lay community" consists of people like imsoshort who have a barely functioning intellect.

I was only fourteen when I first played it, about fifteen when I discovered Jed... I suppose some folk on here now weren't even born then.....

It happens on my Windows XP laptop as well.

Probably the majority. I don't think Massassi attracts much of a younger crowd anymore (which I guess can be a good thing..?).
