Humanity on trial
2004-07-27, 9:29 AM #1
I have decided that humanity must be put on trial for its current sad state. I'm currently accepting paypal donations for the legal fund as well as encouraging all here to help compile the evidence.

Okay so this is a little tongue in cheek but here's the deal: Just link to or show something that you think makes some comment on the sorry state of humanity.

I so want to see guys walking around in that shirt!
Like the time I was at the movie theater and I saw a balding guy of about 30 years of age wearing a t-shirt that said "Nobody knows I'm a lesbian!"

I believe that's a seperate issue from proudly proclaiming what should be an extremely personal matter and certainly not an act which should be celebrated.

lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, be energetic.

Umm doesnt that mean the users might be crazy if they say that the ppl themselves can cure diseases? (If they aren't doctors)

PETA tells kids, "Mommy kills".

http://www.furisdead.com/momfur.html

edit - I would like to add that while I find it offensive PETA would be telling kids "Don't leave your cats and dogs with mommy. They're not safe!" we should be showing animals far more respect than what you will see if you watch the video link on the site I link to above.

PETA is one of the most irresponsible non-profit organizations in the country, perhaps in the world. I've mentioned it before, but they've given money (from their tax-exempt donations) to convicted arsonists and other felons, affiliated with the group "North American Earth Liberation Front," which, mind you, is on the FBI's list of domestic terrorist groups.

It has often supported violence and other methods of coersion to achieve it's very extreme goals. It's subsidiary group PCRM is also a real great one, commited to spreading PETA's propoganda under the guise of a legitimate health organization.

Well, I know I should have bitten my "tongue" but when DJ Yoshi continues to make unprovoked personal comments toward me it's hard. Flexor alluded to the same as well. I wouldn't expect you to be critical of anyone being unfair towards me.

Second, I didn't see anything on the Christian site Flexor linked to as being anything other than typical Christian stuff so I wondered if I missed something.

I'll now continue catching up on the thread to see if either of them bothered to clarify their comments for me.

edit - I kind of doubted either one of them would however maybe they just haven't had the time to yet. I do find it odd though that Tracer, a Moderator no less, would suggest I'm the one trying to start a fight when the two individuals I've challenged have seemed to suggest that I and/or Christianity make poor statements about humanity. Odd but not surprising, coming from him.

2nd Edit - Just felt the need to vent more upon Tracer's post. I remained totally on topic with my thread with the exception of challenging two people when THEY made comments towards me. My first post dealt with a shirt that seems to celebrate destroying potential life. I believe that sums it up without making a moral judgement. Next I posted about a sick dentist. After that I posted about PETA exposing horrific animal cruelty but also telling kids that "Mommy kills" at the same time. Tracer, I wish you would make your personal distaste for me less obvious or at least be more objective when you do.
