Matrix code effect...

I think the major issue here is how you've yet to finish a single project. You come here expecting help on every fanatical plan of yours, and attempt to do something that is far and beyond your knowledge of computers. And when you finally discover that what everyone said was true, you drop it and start something else.

This isn't a one time thing, it's reoccurring, nearly every thread you've made has been like that.
2007-11-08, 1:58 PM #42
Point. However thats no reason to treat people like I am being treated. Thats no reason to call them thieves, or any other type of cheap shot.

How ever I come to massassi for a lot of reasons, questions in general, posting general stuff, etc.

The thread on the stray dog that followed me home
The thread on recording some guitars and drums
The rare occasion I post in the cam hoez thread
I state opinions on political affairs and problems

I don´t come here just with pipe dreams.
Nothing to see here, move along.

2nd: Why don't you do something you can actually accomplish, this time? Don't try to make a matrix screen before you've even shot a full concept to completion video piece. If you have, why not share them and try to expand upon those? I can promise you, from a professional video standpoint, we'd make a matrix video project as a fun little side project because we're bored. We'd have all of the skills to do it all ready, but not the technology to do anything professional or high grade. We'd do it as a joke, a side project, and nothing more. No one is going to see any matrix parody and think it's quality work. Try something new and original. Get your feet wet.

Who cares? If you don't like his threads, put him on ignore and never think about him again. Is it that difficult? Or do you enjoy slamming everyone you disagree with?

Furthermore, this is not the only forum sf_goldg_01 attention whores himself on. He crossposts threads verbatim. Nothing he has ever posted has had anything more than a passing connection to any purpose this site has ever had. The only reason he has any interest in posting here is because he posts on every forum that won't ban him.
The only reason "attention whores" ever post more than once is because people like you give him all the attention he wants in order to make yourselves feel superior. If, as you claim, your goal is to stop him from doing that, put him on ignore and never think about him again. Is it that difficult?

Quote:
Finally, if you had done your job when you owned this site you would have banned sf_goldg_01 the first time he claimed ownership over art that he did not make. Nobody in this community wants him around but you and the other administrators chose and continue to choose to allow him to remain on this forum to the constant aggrivation of everybody who posts here. If you actually read the forums once in a while you'd understand why we're treating him poorly.
No, had I done my job, every one of you *******s who rip this guy because he asks a simple question would be banned. There are no rules about asking questions here. In this specific thread he asks nothing illegal, he isn't rude, he isn't mean, he's not insulting anyone, he's simply asking a question. You can't eject someone from society because you don't want them around. You're not going to agree with or even get along with everyone who posts here, nor should you expect to (especially you). Look, Jon. I think you are an extremely smart and talented person. But you are a complete ******* to anyone you don't like on a personal level. I never asked anyone to like everyone, what I asked is that people be civil to eachother. But you and a select few others are seemingly incapable of either A) acting civil towards those you don't like, or B) simply putting them on your ignore list.

Do you want me to hack the db and put him on your ignore list for you? Or will you then find some way to get around that so you can keep ripping him every time he posts?

This is the best proposition I´ve ever heard. I´ll tell the other guys and we´ll send somethings later to do some test editing.

We treat you poorly because you steal. You continue to steal. You lie. You continue to lie.

I can't think of a single place where this might be acceptable behavior.

Can you point to any instances in this thread where he is stealing or lying?

Bull****. Every single one of us can point to something we did wrong while we younger/stupider/etc.

But did we keep on doing those things?

How many chances are you supposed give someone?

He'd be on chance 23 by about now. It's getting a little old.

Then put him on your ignore list and let the rest of us deal with him.

I love how gold tried to burn kirby by saying he had the name of the starfighter wrong.

While I don't think being a complete ******* is the way to go about things, Gold has yet to ever complete any of these projects.

Gold, Kirby definitely has sound advice. We always see you try to take on projects that are too large and beyond you skill level, and I don't mean to offend or belittle you by saying that. But seriously, think small, working on things you have the ability for, and build bigger after you accomplish the more important steps. You'll learn more along the way, and if you actually stick with it, you'll see your goals coming to fruition and even exceeding your expectations.

However, based on your history of projects, you really can't blame us for being skeptical.

I'm with Rob on this one, save for the Hitler comment.

This ****s getting old.

Gold : Hai guys I'm making a game!

Person : No you're not. It'll fail.

Gold : NO! IT'LL WORK I SWEAR!

A few months pass.

Gold : I put it on the shelf. Now I'm doing a star wars movie.

Person : No you're not. It'll fail.

Gold : NO! IT'LL WORK I SWEAR! Here's a trailer.

Person : Thats not a trailer, thats a ship flyby. And it sucks.

Gold : IT'LL WORK I SWEAR!

A few months pass.

Gold : Hai guys, liek how do we make matrix code thing?

Person : Weren't you doing a game or star wars film?

Gold : I put them on the shelf.

---

Bottom line :

We don't care about your damned projects Gold. Come back with a finished product.

Oh and special rule : It must be your original final product. Not someone else's.

I think I just entered the Twilight Zone... Jep lecturing someone on unfinished projects? . . .
2007-11-09, 10:40 AM #59
XD

Things have changed over time, Brian. My projects get completed these days. Then again I must admit money is quite a big incentive but still, they get completed!

And hell, I never was this damn annoying about my projects. Others were with the drooling and "stop beating the dead horse" crap about showdown though. :gbk:

And besides, through out my load of unfinished projects, I won a place in 2 massassi level packs, was a main designer for JKRPG Baron's head, released several other MP levels, and helped with skinning in Rites of Xanthus, SPORK, and other projects. I don't think I can remember one damn thing Gold's offered to this community.

Not to mention I never STOLE other people's work.

Except grief.

Seriously.

He gets a bunch of OTHER PEOPLE'S HALF OR MOSTLY FINISHED CRAP from the internet, tries to put it together, fails, asks us how to do his work for him, fails because we don't care we know he didn't make anything, then comes back with the same crap a month later.

You guys are completely missing the point. I'm not asking that you help him, I'm not asking that you like him, all I'm asking is that you ignore him if you don't feel like being nice. I don't care how crappy you think it is.
