To be fair, Mass Effect has a horrible, cludgy, menu interface.

PS, Brian;

CRACKDOWN

I understand that but I actually get more game time on DS than every other system I own simply because I can use it w/out interruptions on the days I commute (for about 1.5 hours each day I commute per week).

Brian, you should download the Overlord demo from Xbox Live. Seriously, it's one of the best and most underrated games on the 360.

I can agree, although I played it on PC.

It is a fun game, and is probably alot better with a gamepad than it is a mouse. The cinema scenes can be hilarious and are sure to resonate with children as well as adults.

It's also a pretty easy game to play, as long as you think about things before doing them. Joncy hit the nail on the head, it's like a non-cutesy version of pikmin.

But seriously, your kid will love Crackdown. It's mindlessly violent, free roaming, your character can level up, and you can throw cars at people. What is there not to like about that?

You mean if I buy Mass Effect to play on our 30" TV I'm screwed because it's not HD, and will find it very difficult to read?

That sucks...I wanted that game too.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Umm... I think you missed the joke.

Bah, how was I to know? I thought he was talking about like Dead Rising and how it was difficult to play on a non-HD TV due to the text looking horrible. This is what I get for taking posts out of context.

:saddowns:

edit- I also didn't see he was quoting Xasthur. That would make a difference.

:tfti:

But I'll agree with you there. The text on Dead Rising on a non-HD TV was nearly impossible to read.

I bought an "official" xbox magazine with a demo disk attached to it. So we got to play some atv/mx offroad game, smackdown vs raw 2008 (which I hate all wrestling games by my son loves them), and a few others. I decided to skip the wireless and just run a long ethernet cable into my office from the living room. Should be hooked up over the weekend, probably.

Once you get that and x-box live, you won't need a demo disc anymore.

Yeah. I don't even think you need a gold account to download demos, do you?
