I'm sure you could link to a pic of a penis if it was appropriate. The point is certain people don't want to see certain things. I don't care if I see a penis, I've seen plenty, but what if my sister or a little kid is in the room with me? We don't all post from basements. If the video automatically played and you couldn't stop it, or it was a graphic picture, you may have had a point, but there was plenty of waring and you didn't have to see it if you didn't want to.

Totally. I haven't been on the forums at all today. I looked over the thread that you're upset with and I have removed the offending content and locked it. You are absolutely right. However, we can't be here 100% of the time and don't read EVERY thread ever.

If you come across something like this that you feel should be deleted, you can absolutely either report the post via the report post button (this sends an email to ALL of the administrators at once) or PM / email any one of us.

Furthermore, each of us (as evidenced in this thread) is likely to act on an issue in a different way. This is something that I've proposed we work on to more "standardize" the approach we take towards moderation and discipline. Personally, I think the discussion in the dog thread could have been commenced without visual representation.

The final word is obviously up to CM at the end of the day. He can reverse whatever we (I) do and if that comes to pass I won't do too much to go against that.

Also @ Emon: That made me laugh. If we could give out gold stars, I'd give you an internet or two.

Admins are like NFL refs, we're gonna **** up now and then and people are going to ***** and moan about it. Unlike the NFL, millions of dollars are not at state. Only thing at stake is your ability to post, and if that is such a huge deal for you (or anyone else) to get up in arms about, well then perhaps you do need to go past the opposite side of the door and not to grab another bag of cheetos.
