As I understand it, it has always sucked (lawl collision detection, and related) but it was at least somewhat entertaining at first...

Oh yea, the gamecards, I had forgotten about those. You're paying more from them than if you registered online, but alas for some without a credit card, its the only option. I remember when I was a youngin' and had to do that.

I liked SWG.

Okay, it was buggy and stuff. But JTL was crazy fun. I miss my force-sensitive carbine-wielding weaponsmith ace pilot.

Also: FFXI > WoW.

:psyduck:
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I was having issues with my video card before I sent it in for repair, I'm just too lazy to change them back.

There Jep, I changed it back, just for you

I could get a credit card, but i do not trust myself. I just need another way to build my my credit. That is all im really worried about. As far as not trusting myself, its just a find ****, because its not like you are actually seeing the money go, which is why people tend to go into det. That is just my opinioon.

ALSO: FFXI = Gay-Sauce

FFXI was the MMO I will always love the most, but it was ruined by Gilsellers.

Honestly it's not really taking me that long to get stuff...granted I do plenty of beggaring around so I managed to skip like 65% of the ISK grind to buy things and I'll be in a Raven (Got a sweet deal for one on the cheap) by Wednesday with only about 1 month + the my starting 14 day trial of play time.

Also: Send ISK.

SWG got changed radically twice. The first change was needed because the combat was so silly it was nuts. The second wasnt and made the game for kiddies.

Now their desperatly trying to get people to re sub with every trick they can find.

No way.

I pay more than once every two months to serve my country.

:downs:

I dunno, SWG was fun if only because it took me back to imagining what the rest of Tatooine looked like.

Current jumpbridge status: lol

Apparently there was supposedly some sort of hotfix for them recently but who knows. Check the thread in The War Room to see which ones have been recently reported as being down.

SWG Tatooine looked like ***. I didn't know a planet that had been supposedly orbitally bombarded into glass would have such...rough terrain. I expected A LOT more flat terrain.

Irregardless it's only like 22 jumps...so it's not THAT far. I should at least be able to make it to somewhere on the CJ to 77s route without much hassle and we all know how dangerous that route is...

Yeah Tatooine totally should have been completely flat.
I mean sand doesn't blow and create dunes or anything.
Orbital bombardments are specifically designed to calculate the power needed in each shot to keep the terrain flat, after all its about aesthetics not total annihilation.
And oh yeah, sand doesn't blow and reveal the unsanded terrain underneath it ever. Yeah.

I mean its only been 30,000+ years since that happened. Things don't change nope.

I know what you're saying but I don't think you understand the gravity of what I'm saying. Mountains are one thing, but 85% of the entire map is made up of a maze of creekbedish type drops in the terrain where one would probably expect (And it would look better too) to see flat terrain. It doesn't look at all like any other rendition of Tatooine EVER, it looks like crap.

Dunes in the beginning with R2-D2/C3PO again more dunes with every shot of Sand troopers, rocky terrain in a lot of it , and some flat terrain with rocky terrain easily apparent in the background on the land that Luke lived on.
Yep...totally always flat. Can't forget Episode 6 either that was completely flat with nothing but dunes and more rock.

Yeah I understand that completely. I never understood the whole creek beds thing either since the planet hasn't had running water in over 30,000 years. The way they were built with bridges included I think the devs forgot that too (bestine had a moat apparently), but a lot of it had to do with the limitations in terrain since EVERY map had them.
Very much of the terrain WAS flat including the whole South/South West region which is where EVERY movie item was.

Out of curiosity, when was Tatooine orbitally bombarded? I don't remember it in any games or movies, but if it was the books or something, then...

Unless you're talking about the bridge to the warfront, I don't know what you're "lol"ing about. The GF bridges have been doing fine. It's TCF's that are :hurr:

I'm in GROON, btw, which of course is in the GS alliance (much to the dismay of Goonfleet).

kyle90 your PVP/PVE thread sucks. Your Phoenix needs a Gigabeam instead of the siege mod for maximum alpha.

SWG's Tatooine does have Sanddunes. Rather alot of them but most players never go near them.

On a side note SWG is currently jedi heaven given that jedi is a starter profession....

Yeah I'm currently stuck between TCF bridges; 1000 ozone in my cargo and nobody in local to put it in for me.

The GF ones just break constantly, unanchor themselves, etc.

30,000 years before KotOR the Rakata decimated the planet because they were evil fish looking losers and everyone hated them.
