They were sleeping pills--I don't think anyone really takes sleeping pills recreationally (except ambien, sorta).

I work in a theatre, so the first thing I hear from my bored manager who spends alot of time browsing IMDB was.

"Oh my god, CRAZY story, heath Ledger is dead!"

the first thing I said was.

"wow, so batmans finished right?"

she burst out laughing because every single person who heard that during the day also asked the same question, no one really cared that he died, they just cared that batman was finished filming.

we also now predict that batman's volume when it's released is going to be twice as large because people, not only batman fans will come because it's his last movie.

Its terrible that he died. Also it sucks because it looks like he did really well in the new batman movie.

But seriously, someone get rid of all the facebook groups.

The Patriot.

1.) A Knight's Tale was an awful, awful movie.
2.) The Patriot wasn't much better.
3.) We probably shouldn't turn this thread into the one that I need to actively watch while I'm house sitting, so how about keeping things civil?

A Knight's Tale was thoroughly enjoyable and most people quite honestly don't care if a movie isn't good by artsty-farty standards. If I am entertained for the duration of a film then I consider it time well spent.

http://imdb.com/title/tt0424880/ <--really good movie with Heath Ledger as a Heroin addict. Ironic it's one of his last movies, sort of...if only he had taken like 30 80s of OC or something or eating 3 fentanyl patches...

I think Freddie would've loved that film personally.

(and I am a massive Queen fan)

(and luckily Robbie Williams' cover was only on the credits - all the other Queen songs in the film were the originals)

A Knights Tale was a brilliant movie, thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable.
Heath Ledger was really going places, it's a shame that he's gone.

Considering the people sticking up for the movie the most are UKssassians, I'll have to back down and say you're probably right. So, I'll just say, it's not a movie I'll ever sit down while sober and decide to put on the tube.

And I can partially agree with Deadman. He was certainly showing potential, and I'm hoping Dark Knight will only make me wish he were still alive for sequels.

I can totally appreciate people not liking it - I just know that myself and lot of my friends thoroughly enjoyed it (and in fairness a lot of the humour in it is very British-oriented).

I suspect Dark Knight will be something very special.
