It's different in at least one major respect. The rest system. Also the storyline, and the way blizzard portrays it, the detailed surroundings...hell a LOT of things look different from EQ.

WoW doesn't looks like an EQ clone to me. It actually has a storyline, which is more like AC....mmm....AC.
