5G iPods were either 30, 60, or 80 GB.

30gig Pogo Ripdrive.

You haven't heard of it, you never will. But it's the best mp3 player ever for the price it was when I bought it.

Also, I only ever use it in my car. I don't tend to listen to music when I'm just out and about.

1GB Zen V.

It's orange.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

Only problem I have with it is that I wish you could charge it from a wall socket rather than having to use a USB port, but it's not that big of a deal. I've also got a 4GB iPod Mini lying around somewhere that's only reliable if you leave it plugged in, and a 256MB mp3 player I got for £5 from ASDA after my iPod's battery finally gave up the ghost. Used that last one as a stopgap until I got my Sansa for Christmas.

There SHOULD be an attachment you can buy elsewhere for this. I know mine uses the USB port to charge, but you can buy something that'll plug it into the wall.

Huh, you're right. Good looking out! Don't know why I just assumed I was stuck with USB charging.

Yeah, iPod wall chargers just have a USB port on them that you plug your regular docking cable into. For Christmas somebody got me an iPod accessory kit made by some third party, it came with USB wall and car charges that can be used for any USB device, pretty handy.

Love it to death.

Oh yeah,

The Zen Vision M is an ipod killer in so many ways. I loved mine too when I had it.

Like Aglar, 60G iPod Video from my ex girlfriend for my birthday a few years back, but no heart wrenching engravings. I listen via some Sennheiser HD202.

30gb Creative Zen Vision:M

Does what I need, though I've *never* watched a video on it. Honestly, who would want to watch a video on a 2" screen? I've never seen the point. Anyway, other than that It's great for music. The sound quality is good (Though I'm sure it's not as good as my ancient Jukebox 3). Only way the ipod beats it is size.

I use Sennheiser CX300s.

Get stuck in an airport some time ;)

I admit I almost never watch videos on my iPod, but there have been a couple of occasions when it's come in handy. Also, if you have the cable that lets you connect it to a TV it's an easy way to bring movies to a friend's house.

20Gb Sony AW-3000
It serves as a portable hard-drive and player for me. The player itself is decent, but Sony's music transfer software sucks and there are no real alternatives. Thankfully I got it cheap, 3rd-hand but basically unused.
